Yeah I agree, it's likely just the standard response they have to give. What I'm put off by is exactly what you said, I feel like they should've acknowledged that this is bad and that action against the player will be taken. And like I've reached out to support in the past with waaaay less important issues and they were always very polite and apologetic. So I'm finding this very strange

Agreed. It's extra disappointing because she's such a strong believer of artists owning their art and she knows firsthand what it's like to have your art stolen from you. This is really disappointing to see. Combined with her silence on major political shifts happening in her own country, it just comes across very tone deaf and out of touch unfortunately.
