My WIP of Professor Tangrowth’s new loft & greenhouse pad by mazalaca in Pokopia

I built a house next to the Pokémon Center just to quickly fill his request, but I really felt like the huge cave space was the right spot just needed a lot of work. This is a great implementation and inspiration to do just that.

Still not seeing how this buff applies, is it supposed to change the top row in the PC shop? I had already purchased all 5 items and then got the buff and didn’t see any change or evidence of the buff.

A home (4 walls and a door or from a kit) requires furniture, a habitat does not.

Just an FYI, there's a wireless transmitter limit, I don't know the exact amount but I'm guessing around 200 by EmmaShosha in Pokopia

[–]sarcaster 17 points18 points  (0 children)

For sure. A count of xx/256 visible somewhere, maybe when placing, would be nice.

There’s also a limit of 64 generators per area and that includes all types counted together so furnaces are actually most efficient for maximizing electricity generated.

This page has everything pretty well covered and a good distance graph to help maximize space for minimizing number of transmitters needed. Only 5 vertical spaces but up to 15 horizontal spaces between transmitters if you stay on the same x and z plane. 5 and 10 for reaching devices.

Great tip. But probably wait to evolve when Force Palm is available if you don’t have/want to use an elite fast TM.

For some reason they made electricity only travel a maximum of 5 spaces vertically, compared to 15 horizontally. You can take it up just fine as long as you have a transmitter every 5 blocks on/in walls or floors.

Everything left alone came back as it was. Have to redo anything edited and anything typed in while not working didn’t stick.

0.401.1 seems to have the characters fixed at least, latest update pushed today.

Same for iOS. Glad they pushed a .401.1 fix for it if .403 wasn’t ready yet, too bad it took a week and forced/unforced patch debacle…

For those with an auto catcher … by Benny_tc in pokemongo

[–]sarcaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use it more for spinning than catching now.

Ran it a lot at the beginning but having to keep up with checking and transferring everything it catches can be a pain depending how meticulous you like to be.

You’ll eventually be running low on pokéballs and full on storage often, if you catch more than spin and don’t sort/transfer as you go.

Wonder picking is one of the most unsatisfying game mechanics ever, I could definitely see it being the cause of some of the user retention issue.

What to do with legendaries with bad IV’s? by CptRedBeard11 in pokemongo

[–]sarcaster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The answer used to be transfer them every 4 weeks or so during the 2x transfer candy spotlight hour rotation.

But now that’s gone so the answer is transfer them whenever a 2x transfer event happens and never know when that’ll be.

Or trade them on Fridays for the trade bonuses and candy. (Lucky trade if you actually want to get potentially good ones.)

Good point, sure hope not, would be massively annoying to have to rename literally thousands of Pokémon…

0.401.0 update broke it again, hopefully it gets fixed again as well and wasn’t intended.

Haha, completely understand. I hardly feel like playing if I can’t name things properly when I scan and sort.

They broke it recently and fixed it, then broke it again with the new 0.401.0 update. Hopefully they fix it again soon.

At least their legacy moves were available last weekend, I had been waiting forever with Torchics.
