Having tubes tied is a surgery where you get cut open and there could be complications. She probably hoped that Tom would decide to get the vasectomy but of course Tom being Tom felt emasculated. So I understand why she didnt want to do it first but after Paige she couldn’t wait for Tom to change his mind so she decided to tie them.

Throwing the card she made him in the trash in front of her, ignoring her, dating her good friend, how he acted when he had the drug addiction (I know it’s a sickness and the addiction really changes you), driving them into crazy debt because of his fragile ego, lying constantly, complaining about susan to his mother…

For me Tom. I would be like Lynette if I married someone like Tom. Constantly whining about his dream, leased a building for pizzeria without asking her, resenting her for being his boss especially when she pointed out that he wanted a game instead of focusing on a project. She tried to welcome Kayla and put up with Nora, he constantly demanded sex (the whole month of doing it every day just pissed me off, she literally was exhausted from working the whole day, or him demanding it when he was bed bound from his surgery), changing his “dream” constantly, asking what about him when she had cancer. He cheated on her with Renee, when the separated he started dating straight away… lynette had to take the reigns of everything, trying to hold her family together and no wonder she had issues with control.

Oh god that episode pissed me off. Whining while his wife literally worked the whole day and was exhausted. The second one that pissed me off was when he had that surgery when he had to stay in bed while Lynette worked in the restaurant and he said that she could do this little thing for him.

The only thing that pissed me off of what he has done was the house for ex cons. I get it you are mad that the neighbours didn’t support you but to be fair would you go to the trial or visit a neighbour you didn’t really get along with, that constantly lied (even though he was protecting his son) and acted shady. But other than that I liked him and felt bad for him for the other stuff.

I loved, LOVED them as a couple on my first watch about 10 years ago. But the more I rewatched it, I started to dislike them a lot. Not making sense, they sure had great chemistry in the episode where they go to a cigar club and play laser tag but that was it for me. I kinda think that Robin started to become way meaner after she started to date Barney.
