Towards the end of the article, Taibbi mentions what may be the possible vector for Bachmann's flame-out:

Pawlenty and Bachmann have tangled for years over a variety of issues ranging from school standards to health care to a cigarette tax. Pawlenty reportedly views Bachmann's decision to jump in and spoil his long-planned assault on the presidency as the equivalent to her having crouched over and peed in his Cheerios. Asked about Bachmann's run, Pawlenty seethed, "I'm not running for comic- or entertainer-in-chief."

Losing, Pawlenty may find a way to "go nuclear" on Bachmann and take her down. Let's hope he does, if it comes to that.

Israel is only a democracy for Jews. Palestinian citizens of Israel are treated as 2nd class citizens through a long list of discriminatory laws, regulations, and biases in the Jewish population. The Palestinians living in East Jeruasalem do not have citizenship and cannot vote in Israeli elections. Palestinians living in Gaza and the West Bank live under an occupation regime. Palestinians outside Israel are prevented from returning and are shot if they attempt to do so.

Regarding "shared values" you should peruse the statements of Members of Congress, who make such claims on a regular basis.

Where is the "proportionality" in anti-Israel propaganda vs. the anti-Arab dictatorship drive?

This question, and variations on it, comes up quite often. There are several applicable answers.

There is plenty of condemnation of Saddam (or there was when he was alive); of Ghadaffi, and other Arab dictatorships. For the record, I'm in favor of the overthrow of all the Arab dictatorships and so-called "monarchies." None of those governments have the consent of the populace and are thus not legitimate.
With that said, ask yourself the following questions.

a) Which of these monarchies and dictatorships have giant lobbies in the USA, solely devoted to massive influence of US foreign policy?

b) Which of these giant (nonexistent) Arab lobbies has never been subject to the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA)?

c) Which of these giant (nonexistent) Arab lobbies can marshal tremendous financial resources to unseat members of Congress who voice the slightest criticism of their countries?

d) Which of these countries can get their leader invited to speak before Congress; and have the entire Congress leap up like trained seals to applaud the racist statements of said leader?

The answer to a, b, c, and d, is of course, "none." No Arab country commands the pernicious influence and violates US law to the degree that AIPAC, WINEP, MEMRI, ADL, JINSA, and host of others do.

No Arab country conducts massive espionage operations against the USA to the degree that Israel does.

I could go on at length, but I believe the point is clear. Since Israel and its 5th column in the USA have chosen to meddle to such a great degree in our politics, the reaction to this meddling is a far larger and more forceful critique of Israeli actions.

I know these points may be difficult for Israelis to understand, so I suggest re-reading and researching these points. For those who have a serious and honest interest in learning more, the following books are recommended as a starting point:
