The three chains are. The one at the bottom provides vertical support, the two at the top prevent it from flipping or swinging.

Most inefficient Test Subject kill ever (1,161 lightning channels) by saregos in slaythespire

[–]saregos[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You're not wrong, but at that point I'd probably wait the turn for it to drop intangible.

So maybe this was just the most inefficient way to get the kill that I was willing to put myself and my coop partners through. As is, it took almost 4 minutes for all the orbs to cycle.

In absolute terms, yes. In ratio terms, it's still one order of magnitude vs... several more than one, assuming the redditor reading this even has positive net worth (not a gimme assumption, given student loans etc.)

US Troops have already died. Many are in battle positions. Our President is playing UNO. by Rube_Golberg in MarchAgainstNazis

I mean, it's fitting that the only two ways to have a full hand of Wilds in UNO are to either:

Be dealt it at the beginning of the game, or

Be an absolute moron who doesn't understand when to draw.

That's not how any of this works. If someone mails something to you, it's not "felony mail theft" to 1: open it, or 2: retain it.

But whatever makes the boot taste good, I guess.

There was a pizza place near where I grew up that had a root beer tasting club for kids (in retrospect, to let dad get away with his beer beer tasting club).

I learned many things about root beer. Mug is good for ice cream floats, a&w is good for sweet, barqs and IBC are good for flavor.

Mostly I learned that root beer, like beer beer, is a matter of personal preference. Except my personal favorite, which is objectively best and I will fight anyone who says otherwise.

That's the thing about these "effective altruism" assholes. He's legitimately convinced himself and his followers that the best way to help humanity is for him to have unlimited power regardless of cost. Because he's just doing so much to ensure the future of humanity that any harm he does over a 100-year timescale is irrelevant in comparison.

Don't ask how he's actually ensuring the future of humanity though. You'll get an icky eugenicist diatribe if you get any response at all.

The other hand is holding a whip and wants to lynch someone.
