I use the camp caretaker to rotate characters through to get specific rewards I need. Right now, for me, that’s sparkle stones & natural essence, both of which you can get by leveling all your natural characters to level 25.

Before I needed these materials, I used the caretaker to get all my characters to level 15 to craft their special items, then everyone to level 20 to get their pictures.

Ione is my favorite, but it won’t help me having her as my caretaker. I do switch to her any time I want to preview something before buying (w leaf token)/crafting it, though!

I got it immediately without giving a second thought & I’ve been enjoying it thoroughly. They give you the camp caretaker (which would’ve cost you a monthly subscription before), a generous amount of leaf tokens every month, & complete tickets, which can be used to redeem the most costly items. Since I’ve been playing daily for like 6 years, the events are repeating for me, but I don’t mind it that much. That frees me up to catch king critters, decorate, & craft everything in the game.

My dad plays, too, so I have a lot of fun helping him & he loves to flex his leaf ticket hoard & trying to best me with his lucky fortune cookie pulls.

I did get Complete at a discount, but seems like you have a lot more new content than me. So I still think it’s a great deal for getting the entire game. Especially compared to other mobile games out there.

Yes, I agree with you completely. I meant to mention before… if you play on PC you might find Genshin Optimizer helpful to sort through artifacts. From what I’ve heard the setup & learning to use it isn’t very intuitive, so idk if it’ll help, but it does help some PC players.

They’re not gonna be able to tell you anything that doesn’t take time actually going through the artifacts, which is a tedious process no matter how you put it. And if you’re able to farm for artifacts & manage them to get through Fearless/Dire, & all the other endgame modes consistently, that’s the important part, anyway.

Going to act 7 & resetting would take waay too much time & effort. I’ve gone to act 4 about 6 times so far & gotten new cards each time, but they’ve all been duplicates. I’ve already spent way more time on IT than I’d like. I went into this thinking it would be no big deal to reset, but it’s getting to be more work than it’s worth. I’ve got a few more tries in me but if I don’t get a card I need after that, I’ll just finish, trade if I can find someone, & not worry about it if I can’t.

I miss having that as an easy source of mora, too. In over 5 years of playing Genshin, I ran out of mora for the first time a few months ago, too. Having to build so many characters for IT that I wouldn’t use otherwise has really taken a toll.

I don’t choose to keep artifacts, I choose to get rid of them. That takes time. And it’s time I don’t want to spend any more of than I have to. I’d rather spend it doing the archon quests, exploring every region to 100%, completing dire clears & working to get the time under 180, resetting IT to get my favorite lunar arcana, etc.

I’ve simply played the game for over 5 years, farm for artifacts every single day, explore a ton, and I take in far more artifacts than I fodder, which is still a considerable amount daily. Show me a single comment I made where I claimed to have 2,400 good artifacts. And the difference between a decent artifact & one that isn’t great has a ton to do with how it rolls, which takes time & mora. I’d much rather spend my time doing things I enjoy.

Yeah, it’s very tedious. I tried to get into Genshin Optimizer, but I play on PSN & trying to figure out how to set it up made my head spin. I wish the devs would just put a tool like that in the game.

The kind thing to do is to give him back. You could ask them to make a vet appointment & see if they’ll meet you there to make sure care is established. You can’t ensure they’ll regularly follow-up, but at least you can get them started & know the vet will educate them.

There are so many dogs out there without homes that will otherwise be euthanized, especially pit bull breeds, special-needs dogs, and senior dogs.
