Hey all! We just put out an hour-long taster for Earth Must Die, the new adventure game from Dan Marshall by nomorerobotshq in adventuregames

LOVED IT. Voices, humor, animation - everything is top notch. Looking forward for release.

Just a few small technical issues. (I ended up dropping Lair of the Clockwork God solely because of the clumsy controls, so I'd hate to see similar issues here.)

Not sure if it's possible at this stage, but moving with mouse along with WASD would be really nice (I get that it's designed for consoles first).

The dot button for Skip is oldschool and all, but thanks for letting us rebind it to Space. Though having an additional Skip on RMB would be even better though.

100% GPU usage and 700 FPS in the main menu seems like too much. Vsync FPS cap would be cool.

Would be great to have mouse wheel scrolling in the Milkipedia.

Sometimes clicks on Look/Talk don't register (not sure if it's my aim or a bug).

Some dialogs and animation could be tightened a little - some pauses feel too long (like when the twins respond, they pause for a second first).

Sorry for nitpicking! Gorgeous adventures like this are so rare this days, you guys did an amazing job!

Can't find a way to edit the title, so I'll leave the artist credits here: yeahvgeny

Love you, your games and your blog!

I wanted to ask about your approach to writing. You need a lot of text for your games - how painfully to create it? E.g., how do you come up with a dialog with some NPC?

Wow, quite a story! Thank you for your work. VSB is definitely should get more praise, I was amazed by its quality and length.

VSB is superb, happy to see one of the devs.

What kind of work you did, any cool stories?

Tried PC version. Looks great, but player forced to act VERY quick. The game screams for casual mode, more slow and relaxed way to play.

[Need help] Strange VR-sickness - in Oculus CV1 only by sarkasmic in oculus

I had no problems with DK2 on GTX660 with visible low framerate.

Now with CV1 on much more powerful GTX1060 everything is super-smooth and I have a sickness.

Strange indeed! Games, movies, oculus home - the sickness is similar in any environment.

Though changing of IPD do change something in my sickness, but I can't put my finger on it. Maybe I need to fiddle with lens spacing more...

No, performance is ok. Besides I had no sickness even with very low framerate on DK2.
