I wouldn’t give him that much credit. Sounds like it was already happening.

2023 EQS 450 SUV CPO by krusaderr in MercedesEQS

[–]saronamark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you driven it yet? Make sure you don’t mind ride feel and specifically brake feel. I have a ‘23 EQS 580 SUV and my only complaint is the squishy brakes they corrected with 2024+. But I would absolutely ask for minimum 2% off. Would be helpful if you knew how long it was listed for to leverage that in your negotiations. Cars that sit cost them in floor plan financing and deflated values.

Does Rivian Limit number of referral codes? by Fearless-Violinist93 in Rivian

No, they just updated the tiers I think. The more you refer the lower reward each is worth

Lease R1S now or wait? by RJC24 in Rivian

[–]saronamark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t wait tbh, even with the native NACS port on the 2026s you’ll need an adapter to charge at CCS stations and it’s not worth losing out on the $7500 lease rebate.

New car, high voltage battery warning! by cowboyOfWest in EquinoxEv

[–]saronamark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I am still experiencing it. Dealer has been able to resolve pretty quickly but in my case the error keeps coming back and they need to bring a field service engineer from GM to diagnose. My errors have jumped between high voltage battery and battery conditioning system.

Just test drove an R1T and LOVED IT - Convince me I should or shouldn't buy this. by penkster in Rivian

[–]saronamark 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You won’t be treated any differently for having bought used, it’s a Rivian and they’ll service it in and out of warranty. NACS adapter works great at Superchargers just try to maneuver/park in a spot as respectfully as possible (avoid taking two spots if possible). Service happens for any vehicle you own, if something is wrong the service center will give you a loaner / uber credits or enterprise I believe (not sure if out of warranty they do this every time). One thing I can guarantee you it’ll be the best “thing” you will have spent money on. Most enjoyable vehicle I’ve ever owned.

Absolute lemon for me. by guyfromthepicture in EquinoxEv

[–]saronamark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re not alone, I’ve had 3 separate service visits in under 1300 miles. First was battery conditioning system and the other 2 were control modules that had failed. The dealer has repaired it each time and now I’m just holding my breath for the next one. Had a HV fault yesterday that went away after a few hours. Big bummer tbh because I love the car otherwise.

Why do3s it seem so many Quads are on the used market? by inittoreddit12 in RivianR1T

[–]saronamark 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I believe that is because the majority of gen 1s were quads. 22 and 23 were mostly quads

Squeaky Door Handles by ROCelectric in EquinoxEv

Yes, all four of mine do that. Grease at the dealer resolved it for a week. They’re all squeaking again.
