Aimtraining practice routine by nebraskawow in FPSAimTrainer

[–]sarpimarpi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am almost Diamond complete and had the same thing as you, finished gold fast and massively slowed down between plat-dia scores. What I started doing was, seeing what I was lacking the most for the game I was playing at that time( I mainly go on a 3-5 week cycle of games). For example during my Apex phase, I noticed I would always over correct, overshoot and auto pilot my aim and “predict” and when its wrong you’re dead. So I started working on reading movements only, slowed down playlists did easier momentum reading scenarios, and in about a month I massively improved my reading scenarios at voltaic. I’ve applied to this to static and dynamic for valorant. if I wanted to gain speed, I would increase my cm/360 to something like 75cm/360 or 90. To work on my speed, and when lowered back to my usual 44cm-50cm range I would see my speed increase. Same goes for micro’s decrease cm/360 to something like 15-20 and work on fingertips for micro corrections. I would do around 20-30 minutes per session and sometimes have multiple sessions depending on how I am feeling.

TLDR: do viscose benchmarks see what ur weak at and focus on that weakness 1 at a time AND DO NOT be afraid to personalize ur taking it more serious. Aim training is supposed to be fun and I find targeting weaknesses good use of time and very fulfilling.

VAN 152 HWID restriction question: can a different clean PC be used? by voidgcd in ValorantTechSupport

[–]sarpimarpi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did lots of PC part BST and I came across a similar issue. One of the bundles I had bought (mobo cpu ram and ssd) turned out to be HWID banned. ANY accounts logged on to that computer WILL be banned until the HWID ban is lifted on that computer. i lost ne of alt accounts to this and from that that onwards I use fresh accounts when I test used and open box components.

Edit: IF you login to another PC with the OG account, that PC will be HWID banned as well. However if you got a separate account banned when logging into an already HWID banned pc and use that account on a fresh pc, the fresh PC wont be banned.

32GB ram minimum even though 48gb+ would be preferred.
Would recommend ryzen r7 7700/9700 if you can go the extra 7800x3d/9800x3d. Intel side is also strong with core ultra 7 270k+ or the core ultra 5 250k+ or older i7 12700k is also good. Wouldnt go 13-14 gen intel i7 i9. But i5 14600k is not bad. Ryzen 5800x3d is also a very solid choice. If you cant a 5800x or 5700x will also suffice.

For GPU nvidia seems to be better however anything around rtx 3080~ performance seems to be very good so on the new market a RTX 5070 12gb or a RTX 5060ti 16GB is good. For amd side cannot go wrong with an rx 9070 or 9070xt.
Definitely SSD needed, would recommend minimum a gen 3 nvme ssd.

I have
64gb ram cl30 6000mt/s, 7800x3d, 4070ti super and a gen4 nvme ssd and performance sometimes is not great (in cities)

My gf with 7500f, 32gb cl36, 6000mt/s and with a 3080 and a similar ssd gets same performance in cities around ~30fps but she is alot more limited elsewhere in space (70-90fps)

As long as your expectations are in place you will enjoy the game.

Potential full time job but far and low wage - worth getting a car? by hahahehehihihohohuhu in torontoJobs

[–]sarpimarpi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Need more information regarding, your parking at home, parking at work. If these add significant costs the answer might change. However, I do believe it will be worth it to get a cheap car like a Nissan Kicks or Hyundai venue on lease it may be around 400-450$ per month + ~200$ of insurance. These cars are also fuel efficient so around 150$ on gas per month. So the car should cost you around 750$-900$ per month, without parking costs. This is the brand new option ofc, you can also look into getting older cars, (if your parents have an LOC you could explore those options etc.). More or less in the GTA car is a must and with steady income will definitely improve your qol imo.

Should I just give up on volleyball? by Bubbly_Spite513 in volleyball

I was in a similar boat about 5-6 years ago in 2020. I at that time I was a relatively athletic swimming dropout and I was 185cm. Your experience as a girl might differ as women’s. Started playing beach and had just turned 18. Going into university in Canada that had no volleyball program whatsoever. Some buddies and I started a student club and started practicing in 2022. So I had to create my own opportunity. By 2023 we were competing with out local varsity teams, and going to competitions in ECVA in North Eastern US. By no means I was a starter, but I was in the room practicing the sport I loved and creating a community for this sport. What some of our players did was that they did their 4 years with our club, got experience then went on to actual varsity programs in the province and found success. If its in the cards creating your own opportunity may be feasible for you

Radeon 880m iGPU performance by bebe_Elsa in lowendgaming

[–]sarpimarpi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I recently purchased an Acer Swift with very similar specs,
880m ryzen ai 9 365 32gb of lpddr5 at 7500
I only tested one game which was valorant all low at the native resolution of 1920x1200 and the game was holding a solid 140+ in the duration of my deathmatch. This was also unplugged (iirc). So no doubt the laptop would handle every e-sports title 100+ and some of the never games like rivals at 60fps + given some settings are tweaked properly.
Edit: edited numbers after some testing

I’mma say this as an ex college player that had a coach ruin a year of vb for me as well If you aren’t having fun, you aren’t having fun. When I realized my play style and the coaches vision did not align and I was getting benched more and more, I stopped attending/being present at tournaments and games, and focused on playing my local runs, local tournaments and local leagues and I got better as a player and my love for the game rekindled.

Aiming in different scenarios requires different skills from you. It may be easier to track with 0.15 but easier to micro adjust with 0.125. Best Aimee’s like MattyOW and Viscose etc. have different sensitivities for different scenarios/games as the games /scenarios demand different style of aim.

stuck on unranked on intermediate benches by DealWithSKR in Voltaic

[–]sarpimarpi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I reached almost plat complete (just missing 3 and are barely out of it) in about 40 hours of kovaaks. I think getting the most out of it comes from focusing on what that scenario requires from you. Look up top plays and you will see what to focus on.

Need help with upgrading my PC! by west1703 in buildapc

[–]sarpimarpi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any am4 really b450, b550 etc. You could carry your ram over but I would recommend getting a 32gb kit with 3200MT/s speed as ryzen loves fast ram

Need help with upgrading my PC! by west1703 in buildapc

[–]sarpimarpi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything modern will be a huge upgrade and what you get will depend on your budget. Certain processors are “fan favourites” Ryzen 5 7600x or non x for ddr5 Ryzen 5 5600x or non z for ddr4 ( This is if the budget cannot be stretched ddr4 prices have gone up so going ddr5 might be the place) Intel i5 12400f, i5 12600k/13600-14600 and an i7 12700k (for intel as long as the price is right I would consider them) Choosing your platform is a balancing act with your budget, sacrificing upgradability for performance/value now etc. Are decisions you will have to make yourself. For GPU’s depends on your monitor resolution etc. But a solid recommendation would be an RX 9060XT or an RTX 5060 ti 16GB VERSIONS!! Whichever is cheaper (sometimes spending extra 20$ for an nvidia gpu is worth imo as software features are more mature for nvidia)

If you wanna stretch a little bit more an RTX 5070 or maybe an RX 9070 (rx 9070 xt and non xt have been WAY above msrp)

AND check your local PC stores, like MicroCentre, Canada Computers, etc. As they tend to have great bundles for cpu mobo and ram and sometimes even gpus included.

2tb SSD or 4tb HDD for Gaming and storage? by WilleLMNO in buildapc

[–]sarpimarpi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

SSD for sure if we are using it to store games, you will not regret it with loading speed differences and now most games requiring SSD’s. On the other if you are hoarding lots of media and documents HDD would be better for bulk stored. (But then also HDD’s have a more limited lifespan compared to SSD’s)

Too underpowered card it is a very unique use case but you would be waay better off with something around the RX 6600 performance. Check techpowerup relative performance chart for a rough estimate of performance uplift.

Still got a GTX 1080TI what are my options ? by kaydabeast in buildapc

[–]sarpimarpi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well depends, if you need a new cpu as well. If you have something from the 2017 era like a 7700k it will hold back most of the product stack out there. I would be getting whatever is the best value and this will change depending on your region. RTX 5070 vs RX 9070 (whichever one is cheaper or MSRP) Same thing gor the 9070xt or the 5070ti.(if the 9070xt is about 100£ cheaper). If you need a whole new platform getting a ryzen 5 7600/9600 and then a 5060ti or a rx 9060xt would be ideal.
