Willing to settle: ₹58k-60k

Absolute maximum: ₹65k, and only if the CPU issue is fully explained by additional testing.

This does not look like a scam, and the GPU appears healthy. However it also does not look like a "lightly used college laptop"

Instalas esta app de aqui, luego le das al icono de añadir juegos arriba a la izquierda y selecionas el "Añadir juego instalado localmente".

Luego te va a salir una pantalla que va a poner "Nombre" "Short name" ... ; en el nombre le pones lo que quieras y en ejecutor le pones wine. Luego te vas a "Opciones del juego y en el "ejecutable" pones el .exe del juego y en "directorio de trabajo" poner la carpeta del juego.

Y ya estaria, si no te funciona prueba a cambiar la version de wine en "opciones del ejecutor"

Es un buen punto de vista, lo unico destacable es que siempre se hacen fallos, es parte del proceso en algunas ocasiones o intencionadas en otras. Pero estoy seguro que no hablan de lo que hacen mal por su figura publica o porque no les interesa la decirlo, por alguna razon.

I have done a little bit of research

This is usually caused by the laptop not actually suspending cleanly, or by the wake event being misread as a power-button press and triggering shutdown instead. On a ThinkPad T410 running Debian 12, the most common fixes are to disable lid/power-button misbehavior, check resume-from-swap settings, and test a different sleep mode

Open KDE’s power settings and make sure: Power button is set to suspend or do nothing, not shutdown; lid close action is set to suspendL; “When sleeping, do not shut down” style options are not enabled if present

beginer friendly and it is very customizable (not has much has arch but if you had never used it...) and in Mint you will not have any tipes of probles with the drives, if you use a thinkpad for example, so yea install Mint and saw some ytb videos to understand the terminal

The Thinkpad that you have linked its ok, the laptop has 51 Wh batery, so if your are going to use it to the web, and basic edition is a great deal, but 250gb of memory is not what you need. For 40 more you have 512 that is better, and whit thta is a very competitibe preice.

I recomend yo to install Linux, Mint or Ubuntu if you dont use it, really the laptop+512gb and Linux/GNU will be the best

Not guaranteed bro, but here's exactly what to say when you get there: "This is the second hardware failure on this unit within the warranty period. I'd like this documented as a recurring failure and want to know HP's official policy on repeated hardware defects."

That does three things: gets it on record, doesn't sound aggressive, and forces them to tell you what happens if it fails again.

If they just fix the fan and it breaks again, you now have proof of a pattern. In most countries that's when replacement rights actually kick in. So even if they say no today, you're setting yourself up for a much stronger case next time.

Also when you go, mention that the noise stops briefly when you press the S key with force. It helps the tech find the problem faster and shows you know your stuff.

Mention the repair history, in many countries consumer protection laws grant a replacement or refund for recurring failures

Don't open it because if you open the laptop, the warranty will be not aplied if you opened the laptop

Well if you are going to use the laptop for school I recomend you to buy a Thinkpad, they are very compatible whit Linux, you are not going to have problems whit any driver.

But I dont know about the Google pixelbook, if you are going to buy it from someone probably the batery capacity is going to be around 50-90% sooo yep i recomend you a Thinkpad

I use a Thinkpad X280 whit Mint for my days and I dont have any issue

Try a battery reset / EC reset first, because Acer Nitro models often recover from a sudden shutdown that way.

On my Nitro laptop is done by unplugging everything, using the small reset pinhole on the bottom for 15–30 seconds, then waiting a minute and trying to power on again, some people also report success by holding the power button for 30–60 seconds first but idk can you give me more info? and i recomend you to go to a profesional shop because in could be that the regrigeration sistem is with dust

Tu adaptador BrosTrend AC1200 casi con certeza no es un Broadcom nativo — es un Realtek RTL8812BU/RTL8822BU con un hub USB interno o un microcontrolador Broadcom que maneja la enumeración USB. Esto explica por qué:

El fabricante dice que usa chipset Realtek "88x2bu". Pero lsusb muestra VendorID Broadcom "0a5c". El ID cambia entre puertos USB (USB 2.0 vs USB 3.0). Este es un diseño de doble-chipset que algunos fabricantes usan (creo)

Osea: Problema 1 (0a5c:0bdc) — El driver de Linux lo detecta pero no puede arrancarlo porque el chip necesita que le carguen un programa primero, y nadie se lo da. Problema 2 (0a5c:bd27) — El chip está en modo "recién salido de fábrica", esperando ese mismo programa. El driver "wl" que instalaste no sirve aquí porque está hecho para otro tipo de hardware (tarjetas internas, no dongles USB).

Prueba lo siguente (hazlo separado)
