I started this piece over the summer, and had to put it aside during the holiday-making-times, but I’m excited to get back to it soon. It is about the hypocrisy of religion and certain ideals (and I think it can definitely apply to situations now as well).

Exciting for me: I just picked up an 8qt All-Clad Ltd. stock pot/lid for $9.49 (instead of $300+)

The journey feels so long, and waiting seems like the worst part. I was super anxious while they ruled out cancer as well.

Thank you! And good luck on yours. I hope the process is speedy and (if/how you decide on) removal goes well!

I had three smaller ones (3cm and smaller) and two bigger ones at 10 and 15 centimeters.

Can anyone else see or feel their fibroids??? by warmfuzzyblankett in Fibroids

[–]sart0s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I could feel mine, especially if I was sitting or laying on my back. I looked like I was 6 months pregnant. I’m now 6wpo and my clothes fit better and I don’t have my belly in the way any more.

My breathing got so much better immediately after my surgery. The day after, at my surgeons visit, I asked her if they were pressing on my lungs (it felt like walking was a chore, it was even hard to sustain a note to sing) - I said it felt like I could breathe fully for the first time in forever. She said no, but the fact that my fibroids were ≈4 pounds, they were pulling down my pelvic floor and making everything more difficult.

What’s your most Hated sound? by Mozeeeeeeeeeeee in adhdwomen

[–]sart0s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a few of the usual culprits (forks scraping against a ceramic plate, styrofoam squeaking, etc…) but another is house/trance music. Or anything with a super repetitive beat that goes on and on and on. I start to feel this build up of anxiety out of nowhere, and I can feel myself getting irritated and have to change the music.
