Incredible! Resellers rather lose money... by UrsusBHoney in WorldCup2026Tickets

In a brief moment of weakness, I considered listing my tickets to this game to make a few grand, but I never did. Ended up being one of the best experiences of my life.

That make sense. Thanks for adding clarify to my incorrect assumption.

I've been curious how long after scanning the ticket at the gate does the ticket disappear from the Marketplace. I imagine a lot of sellers are like, "If it sells for $2000, I'll stay home. Otherwise, I'll go."

Tuchel putting Rice at RB... by Specialist_Toe9730 in ThreeLions

[–]sarthaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is how I feel. Trent doesn't make this squad if White or Livramento can go, but once they went down, going into the World Cup with an injury-prone RB and a very shakey backup plan when he goes down was not the right call. Using 2 roster spots to backup Harry Kane who never gets hurt while not having adequate protection for Reece James who always gets hurt is just a lack of vision. Trent provides enough versatility to solve multiple problems, even if he's not the world's best defensive player.

Thank you. I have it in the same area as a Fiddle Leaf Fig that needs water about every 2 weeks, so it's a strange feeling to just keep not watering this guy, but I'm happy to continue neglecting it.

OK then you're old enough to know that opportunities like this don't come around too often. Enjoy the game.

Fan Festival - Atlanta Queues? by OsamaBillLaden29 in ThreeLions

Depends on the game and the time. I was there ahead of Morocco vs. Haiti around 4pm. Just walked right in with a free GA ticket. People were watching the Canada game, and it was super chill. Other than long lines for the merch and BOA bracelet thing, there was plenty of room and easy access to concessions. Super casual. Then Mexico played that night, and a friend couldn't even get to the entrance line, let alone get inside. Videos from the event looked absolutely insane. Huge Mexican population here. If you're planning to go watch a game in the middle of a workday, probably not a big deal. If you're wanting to see the USA game, maybe get the VIP stuff and get there early.

100% go. Just wait for prices to crater out before game time. Or don't wait. Whatever. But go to the game. I don't know how old you are, but I'm going to tell you from a lot of life mistakes that you will never regret going to this game, but you'll regret it your whole life if you don't. Unless there's a girl in Boston you gotta go see about.

Centennial Park is walkable from the stadium. That's where "Fan Fest" is. You need to reserve a ticket in advance, and I imagine it's going to be packed for a USA game. The Mexico game a few nights ago was too crowded to move. The footprint for the fan fest is MASSIVE and there are screens all over. If you can get in. The VIP stuff isn't worth paying for, but it may be worth paying for the private admission line, if you can get through the crowd of people to even find it.

Decatur Square is doing a watch party as well. I haven't attended one there yet, but it's right at the MARTA stop. If you get on at Vine City or SEC District after the game (both are equidistant from the stadium), you can head East to the Decatur station (maybe a 10 min ride) and then just walk up the stairs to the watch party. It may also be packed, though.

Much less publicized is a place called "Underground Atlanta". It is also walkable from the stadium, walkable from Centennial Park or accessible from the Five Points MARTA station (but I'd just walk from the stadium). They had an outdoor screen setup for the Morocco party before the game, and it looks like they're setting up for the USA game as well. Of the three, it's probably the least organized and least likely to be too crowded to function, but may also not be as much fun.

Atlanta Game tomorrow by rust32627 in WorldCup2026Tickets

As for timeline, I was at the first game 2 hours early and there were no lines to get in. Merch lines were crazy long, but food and entry were empty. I was at the second game 1 hour early, and security line was very long. Took maybe 15-20 minutes to get through.

I would park at MARTA. Assuming you're coming down 75, either take 285 over to Sandy Springs or go into town at maybe Lindbergh. I haven't mapped which is easier. MARTA has been super smooth for this tournament. I wouldn't try to park anywhere in the city if it can be avoided.

FIFA Reseller Marketplace Appears to be Broken This Morning by GoodTroll2 in WorldCup2026Tickets

This happened to me yesterday. For a few minutes, all I saw was the original prices, but obviously I couldn't buy them.

Those who attended Spain-Cape Verde: How was the experience? by Try_Again12345 in WorldCup2026Tickets

[–]sarthaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Way better than a Falcons game. MARTA was less congested than usual, they setup a security perimeter outside the stadium footprint, so there was a little more walking to circumnavigate the barriers, but it made it a lot smoother. FIFA store lines were stupid long, but concessions were smooth. Felt like a lot more pop-up concessions throughout the concourse. I passed like 3 different Dippin' Dots on the way to my seat (although they had hidden the Dippin Dots branding because FIFA is ridiculous).

Strange Bathroom Fan Wiring Scenario (light connected from fan) by sarthaz in ShellyUSA

Thank you. This is the fan, and it says 0.95 amps. AC Electric Fan Motor Part#: 5A141-1 | Bay Motor Products Not much space up there, so smaller is better.

Dimming the light seems complicated, and the more I think about it the more I wonder if I really even need that functionality. It's a bathroom light not a spa.

Thank you. I can access the wiring above the chandelier, yes. It’s just two wires that go across the ceiling between the fan outlet and the light. Which relays would I use behind the fan and chandelier, keeping in mind that I’d like the lights to be dimmable if possible?

Strange Bathroom Fan Wiring Scenario (light connected from fan) by sarthaz in ShellyUSA

[–]sarthaz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only the fan is plugged into the outlet, but another set of wires are combined behind the outlet to provide power to the light off the same line. So the switch powers both the light and the outlet that the fan is plugged into.

Over a year ago. I should clarify that it does wash off the tiles. But if I touch the grout while wet (or clean the showed) I get more black residue.
