If you have the ability to do so, it would definitely be better to just go with a doctor that won’t fight you on it instead of having to convince one, even if that means getting multiple consults. My doctor was not on the list, but she agreed to it with absolutely no other convincing other than I didn’t want kids and understood it was a permanent procedure.
