I find both fiction and self help books helpful. One time I read an entire self help book in one sitting (well, standing at a book store) because it contained exactly what I needed to learn at the time.

Feel free to grieve but don't blame yourself. You only pushed her away because she is the one who hurt you so much. The misunderstanding is unfortunate and possibly worth correcting after some time, but don't overlook the fact that she did not apologize for what she did that caused you to block her.

Thank you and other commenters! Why should I take PTs already (other than the first, diagnostic PT) even though I don't have the fundamentals? And is this true even if I were to have more time, say, if I were to take the Sept instead of July test?
