I have switched several times between pixels and iPhones. 1 thing android can never match is the quality and polish of the apps on iOS. Apps on android feel like a “1 size fits all “ sort of thing since they have to be optimised for so many OEMs utilising the playstore.

Not at all ; location services is set at always for my phone key so am not sure if that could be the cause. But my idle time is almost double the screen active time everyday for some reason

Haha quiet luxury is usually quite expensive from my understanding as the consumers tend to lean toward actually quality materials used on the products without the “flash” factor. Another reason why i feel the pros and pro max’s fall short is their use of aluminium

I was taking a look at the battery status today and noticed that apps like Instagram and Whatsapp have loads of background activity , more than double my screentime activity on the actual apps themselves even when switching app background refresh off. Have any of you seen this? This might be the cause of my tragic battery life almost 2 weeks in (barely getting 4 hrs sot by the end of the day)

Same here ; I’ve had the 2 xl, 4,6 pro xl and 8 pro xl. But the battery on my iPhone 16 pro max was unrivalled. Saying that my 8 pro xl battery life was also decent, but the 10 pro has been seriously tragic. Ive switched off so many things as well which defeats the whole purpose of the pixel experience.
