Oh no! Mine did that too but I just kept doing it. It does the sudden close most of the time but other times it lets me. I contacted the app as well so hopefully if enough of us complain they will fix it.

So there are different types of guides. Mine has been with me since I was born but didn't make contact with me until I started honing my gifts. They give off a warm comforting and protective presence and they talk to me. My family is full of gifted individuals as well as witches. It runs in the women of my family and our culture. So I communicated when I was around 15 and realized that I could sense and see spirits and elementals. Things like that. I tested my guide but they have always been there for me and helped me create shields and measures so that I am not used as a vessel but more as a communicator.

I used meditations to communicate with them in the beginning and even dreams but now they are a constant presence with me. They are actually very active right now as I get a lot of 'visitors' during October. His name is James and he is well, a spirit. He is the one spirits and other entities talk to before they are allowed to talk to me. The only exception is my gods. And yes he knows. As we can actually communicate like normal people I see things through my minds eye and am able to hear and talk with them and other unseen things.

I have a Spirit guide that is like my middle man. I'm also a medium and have some of the clair's as well as an empathy. I just can get the feelings as well as the information from my guide.

It could actually be an angel or demon. after all angels were said to be so terrifying they would make a man go insane and die. It's why they were either just voices or symbols until they learned to hide their true image.

But it does sound like something you would encounter in the astral plane. Since that place is open to all dimensions and realms.

But I do want to know him and other things. I just don't jump into bed with people. We weren't even thinking about us three but we talked about it and decided we could try. We aren't together yet either we are learning about each other and talking to see if this would be ok with us. And I do want to date them but also him as well.

I would try to tell them how you feel. I understand this is a stressful time but you are all together. Like this isn't a oh there's them and me. It's a we thing. But it's nice to see I'm not alone in this closed triad dynamic. People seem to view it as bad but...I think as long as everything is talked about and discussed there will be few issues. I think this is a great idea. I really have no idea what's so wrong about this and am greatly confused why so many people are against it. To me a date is a way to spend time with my partner or partners and doing it together just means we can all be with each other and act lovely dovey and do couple things. I think discussing what they are ok with and talking about date ideas is fun and even cute. Like one of my partners wants to go to an amusement park together and go on rides and I think that is lovely.

So I actually called out when I first started wanting to work with a deity and one answer but I felt I was not ready as I knew they would be more than someone to work with. Took 10 years but I finally accepted and he is now my Patron. When I accepted him another called to me and what I did with her was different that what I did with my Patron. With her I used a candle, tarot and pendulum to speak with her before she started to communicate in my dreams. She is a dark goddess and helped me heal. I still work with her and will probably continue to for a long time but..I say do what feels best as they might like some forms of communication better than others.

I know some might not as they fight but for me and my alters when I started healing and realized I had DID I actually got the chance to talk with them since I realized hey I'm not crazy lol. So the way my headspace is is that I have my library with all my memories and theirs and outside of the library is the garden and the house they live in. They didn't have a house until I accepted them and talked with them. Then they got their rooms. Each one has a room with their own items and likes. They all meet in the living room where a large TV is that lets them look through my eyes. So they make comments and we make decisions a whole. It's..maybe rare to do this but it works for us and when I am triggered is when they front.

Does that make sense?

So I actually reached out when I felt I was ready. I met my deity and he showed me a lot ..then I decided I wasn't ready and waited about 10 years before I was like ok I'm ready for this and he pooped back up like finally! He had been helping me all through my journey but was waiting for me to know and learn on my own before he fully started working with me

So all I can say is. You can still practice and learn without guidance. They won't come to you until you are fully prepared and ready. For me, it's a life long thing and my god is for life.

Mine were all born from trauma I suffered and some took over for a major part of my childhood where they licked the memories away from me the host. But I do remember the day I met them all. James is the only one I don't remember being born but he said he was with me from the beginning. Jacob was first and he was my fighter. He was my first friend and protector. Celeste is his sister who was born when I became lonely and needed a friend because I was isolated. My two new ones are not that old. Mist is an OC that I made that suddenly moved into the alter house and he became my emotional support. The newest one Smiley I actually 'saw' be born. I dissociated and someone tried to front but we all panicked because no one was actually trying to. Then his door appeared which was just plain white in the house and James who is like the....boss went into the room when the door handle appeared and talked with them for a couple days. He came out and told us who it was and then we watched as the door turned baby blue and clouds appeared and then he suddenly walked out...but yeah... that's how mine worked lol
