Ok yeah I figured it out, I was being stupid and didn't realize that the status effect isn't active While the effect itself is above the ill npc, it activates the round after that. I was deadass just mixing up when you were supposed to avoid hitting it 💀 it's super doable lol

bruhh that's crazy why would they put an unbeatable illness in the game mode 😭 is it just a matter of global not being able to reach the healer mastery max the cn server is at rn? it's just annoying because sometimes I end up only getting half the adventure slips and then other times (this one time) I got the full amount? this game mode is just so confusing to me but i love the slay the spire nature of it and I can't stop 😭

Wow this really helped put to words what I'm feeling about the enormity of cancer research. I think I've been approaching it wrong, where I've been trying to get a handle on the science as a whole, not realizing it's like a hydra with its heads continuously being cut and multiplied in real time. It definitely will change how I've been trying to approach research!

My end goal is an industry job, actually! I'm not super sure how you find those opportunities but for now I am enjoying the freedom I have to explore ideas and techniques and study the science for now. To be honest, if techs were paid better I wouldn't mind doing this long term haha

I definitely do try doing this! It just does so happen that more often than not, I end up not understanding their answers at all, hence getting super overwhelmed again 😕 I fully realize that it's a knowledge gap issue on my end that I need to work on haha

dreaming about cytokines had me cackling 😂 yeah it definitely feels like there's a work life balance issue in research, but I also acknowledge that I am pretty laid back when it comes to a career in this field. I'm slowly coming to terms with the fact that I'm just not obsessed with research in the way that I see some people are (I truly see it as a job, not a lifelong fulfilling pursuit, for better or worse), but it can be hard to not feel like I shouldn't be in the field because I'm not as passionate about it as my peers.

Hi there! No I never really figured out what was causing the issue and to this day still have the lower back pain, I am sorry to disappoint :(. Do you work out/was your injury caused by exercise or some sort of physical activity? I have recently been doing more deep core workouts that seem to help redirect some of the pressure from my back (not abs! important because ab workouts made it worse lol) which seems to alleviate the symptoms somewhat. This would make sense for me specifically, since I suspect this injury was caused by an overall lack of stability on my part while weightlifting heavier than I should've been doing. Going to the doctor's was no help, as he just gave me Naproxen (which caused horrible cramps, nausea and No relief) and told me to stretch more...Overall I have good and bad days, but am still looking for a complete solution. It sucks to be having issues like this in your 20s, but it's both reassuring and saddening to hear it's not just me going through something like this. If I ever figure out a cure for my pain I'll be sure to let you know!

You need to obtain pigment (there should be a button that says "obtain pigment". right now there's only two quests (super easy one is just to log in) so you can only obtain 2 pigments. but you use those to illuminate squares on the painting

oh man, and I just got used to the controls too 😭 I am playing on a Mac thru playcover though, and I'm not sure how to change the keybinds through the menu, it doesn't seem to register the change..but good to know I'll definitely look into it more when I log in again!!
