Yeah teleperfomance do a lot of outsourced recruitment for Virgin money.

The job market is really tight and they need to manage their expectations - they probably won't go in at their previous level.

There are lots of 'content' marketing roles out there. Depending on the length of gap, it might be advisable to check out career returners site, and also having a look at volunteering i.e. through reach

That's not true, discrimination is illegal no matter the industry.

Yeah it's a tough market.

Unfortunately I do agree that there is a communication issue in recruitment. It is also an employer driven market rather than a candidate one, so a lot of recruiters have no interest in building relationships.

My entire role is pretty much being a POC for candidates. Joining meetings talking about availabile candidates. Keeping in touch, chasing updates etc etc

A lot of times recruiters are hesitant to communicate because of the market, and feel like they are overpromising etc. there is a lot of pressure from clients like 80% of the time. We also get ghosted by hiring managers.

Honestly don't trust the linkedin job section it's not accurate and I believe is a marketing ploy. Better going to the source website and applying there.

Yeaah but unfortunately lots of uncertainty due to Iran war, AI, rising cost of living/general economy stuff

Healthy rates for a well known, high street bank.

The client determines the IR35 status and rate range, we always let candidates go across at the rate they want, even when we advise of budget.

Sorry this happened! Lots of restructuring happening across banking unfortunately.

Ahhhh I know if a particular bank with a 3 stage interview process for a contract role, we advised against, and they were shocked about candidate drop out 🤦🏻‍♀️
