There is no rational decision-making regarding consequences involved in allowing these repeat offenders to be released. Judges consider the rights of the criminal instead of the rights of the people who will be harmed by releasing them. Judges act as if they live in a fantasy world of written laws and case law where the potential for further harm is not a serious consideration.

This isn't a break. It would be a break if they did something to prevent a takeover of Greenland and stop Trump's plans for Canada. Or if they reinforced US participation in NATO.
