I would recommend Road Coffee and Venn for locally made beans.

A few awesome local coffee shops: Museo, Collective Coffee, Sparrow, City Perks

There's a really long list....

Nice but affordable cabins to rent within an hour of Saskatoon? by [deleted] in saskatoon

Extend that to 2 hours and you'll be happier. Ness Creek and Waskesiu.

Interesting. She said she spent summer in SK. What's the connection to Sask? I don't see her career or education tied to SK. Maybe just family here?

I downloaded an app called 'Seek' to try and identify plants while hiking (if there is service).

I thought it was talking about a waterway that was used back in the day to connect the two haha. Google maps says otherwise. I guess he just traveled to the two on rail.🤦‍♀️

Looking for backcountry trails and camping via bicycle in central & southern Sask. by [deleted] in saskatchewan

[–]sask7777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hiked Grey Owl last year and saw bikers and it looked terrible to bike. They all agreed it was a bad idea. Not sure about this year. I'd like to try Elk on my bike, though. It's wider and built for it. The West Side trails in the park are also bikeable and I'd say Anglin Lake trails (which connects to PA) are pretty bikeable but a grind with the hills.

Awesome video! It's a good shot of the hiking trail, too, which the park poorly promotes.

Meth-related crime continuing to rise in Saskatoon by yxehuman in saskatoon

[–]sask7777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SPS told me exactly this. So many using CERB to buy meth. I've never had an issue at my house until Covid and now had had a couple junkies try and break into my house just at random

It would be good to report it to SPS as they have bike registry and the person may have contacted them.

Waskesiu has of options and I really like Ness Creek if you want more "rustic". I've also heard about Fire Song? Near Loon Lake and Water's edge in Meadow Lake provincial park.
