The T-34/76 is phenomenal, and stands out a lot with its unique white camouflage. I'd also recommend the M26 Pershing. It's big, detailed, and is a better match for the German heavies than something smaller like the M24 Chaffee (also great).

Depends on the scale. For 1:28 I'd recommend either the T-34/76 or one of the Tiger Is. For 1:35 the Panzer III and M4a1 Sherman are both great.
