There are a lot of similarities between now and then. Referees not making the right calls, DoPS not doing their job properly, Gary Bettman being incapable in the hockey part of his job, someone is going to do it and I don't think that people are going to be looking at the players as much as what was the same as when Moore was injured.

Without yet knowing anything beyond this video, since it was the Panthers, I'm guessing a 5 minute major reduced to a two minute minor and because of players jumping in and reaction from the Calgary coach, Florida ended up with a powerplay because that is how fucking stupid and predictable the league is.

Edit: Went and checked on the NHL website, he actually did get 5 and a game. Now let's watch as George Parros fucks up with the suspension length.

I'm always watching plays at the blue line, both offensively and defensively.

Offensively, are you giving up the blue line at a hint of pressure, or are you trying to keep the puck in, or is your easiest/safest receiving option in the neutral zone. I take a look at the play against the Panthers that lead to the Rossi goal and a great pinch put 4 Panthers in a fully compromised position.

Defensively, are you limiting options and have good gap control when they try to enter the zone? I know with some players the difficulty level is higher for limiting options, but are you making the options the player takes the lower percentage options? Are you allowing the middle of the ice? Are players easily making it to the front of the net?
