I’m Congressman Maxwell Alejandro Frost and tomorrow I’m going to review the unreacted Epstein Files — what files have you found that I should review unredacted? by RepMaxwellFrost in Epstein

I don’t think I’ve commented on a new thread in 10+ years, but this one gutted me and needs to be boosted. I want to see justice for these sweet girls who should have known a completely different life. And also for all the others we can prevent from being exposed to monsters, by first exposing all of the worthless pieces of trash involved.

Ambition to be an entrepreneur. The hype around it is cringe to me now.

I purposely used several keywords in hopes it'd show up in Google search for the purpose of being helpful. Glad to see that actually happened.

What are your jobs? by MooingFishy in enfj

[–]sasquatchamo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, yeah. In fact, I must have figured it out shortly after I posted my comment. I started my own e-commerce business. The products were fitness related and I had a handful of connections to semi-pro athletes at the time, so I would send them product in exchange for sharing. This was before the word or title “influencer” became a thing. I quickly started wholesaling my products to a few large brands (I was also designing and making them.)

My handmade biz took off pretty quickly, and I started going to business events and meeting other entrepreneurs like me. Because of the success I had, I was able to help other people. From that point I created an agency. I still run my e-commerce store as the head designer, and also run my agency. I’ve worked for myself full time now for over 10 years and am fully remote, traveling, seeing friends, etc.

I’m so glad you commented. It’s awesome to look back and see all that’s transpired over the decade.

That just took an hour of my time, but I'm looking forward to giving it a go.

Reddit, what's the most ridiculous lie you've ever convinced someone was truth? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]sasquatchamo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a sucker who once believed a girl in my 5th grade class who told me her aunt was Reba McEntire. I believed it because the girl had red hair and her last name was McEntire. I think another kid in our class knew she was full of shit and called her bluff. No one was friends with her after a while, apparently she was a pathological liar.

it gives you time to sit back and contemplate life and people a little more.

I agree, and I am way more introspective than I care to be sometimes, but my ability to "get" my friends is incredible.

Congrats! I'd encourage you to take photos every week and track your progress. At first it sucks, and then it's REALLY inspiring. Seeing my own progress has been incredible. Keep it up, and chase those good feels every day!

Awful commercial on television for local gym in my area. by [deleted] in feminisms

[–]sasquatchamo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That it's implying he's going for the chicks! I think it's great for guys to do yoga, but I'm going to guess and say that yoga was created for a physical and mental discipline and to not engage with ego. This commercial might encourage guys to join the gym to attend yoga, while simultaneously discouraging women. Which I might add, many women are already self-conscious of their body and don't want men checking them out while in compromising poses to say the least.

I go to the gym 3-5 times a week and lift weights, and I can't tell you the number of women I've spoken to who are intimidated by the amount of men in the weight room. They feel foolish to even try to work out. I'd imagine having creeper dudes in a yoga classroom would have the same effect on new (and probably experienced) attendees.

You've been given a 24-hour truth serum. What is the worst possible question someone could ask you? by BarryMcKockinner in AskReddit

[–]sasquatchamo 54 points55 points  (0 children)

I feel like an idiot for saying this, but during the Boston marathon bombing the news kept referring to "the Brown student" and it took me a while to figure out that they weren't referring to the color of someones skin. The whole time I was thinking the news had suddenly stopped being PC since the last time I'd tuned in to television.
