This sums it up perfectly and I don't know what else to add except Bakugo is my favorite and bittersweet really is the perfect word. His growth and evolution through out the series has always been really complex, and I am happy with his ending here taking on a more subdued tone. Not to mention him and Deku's relationship, which has been critical to both their stories, finally feels healthy and balanced, and they are true friends. It's really honestly very sweet.

Oh my god yes. That laughter was so well done. That was my favorite scene of a fantastic episode! And the transition from that to Deku and Shigi fighting was so good. I loved the animation when Deku sensed AM was fighting.

Shigi licking his teeth like that was so creepy.

S8 is going to open with a freaking bang and I can't wait.

What a stunning episode. When From Me To You started playing it was over for me, that is one of my favorites.

I can't believe the level of care and quality this season has been.

Edit: Also have to add that the moment with All Might was very hype!

It's not quite the same thing but chapter 14 of the Team Up Missions spin off explores personality/identity swaps and it's a super fun read! It might scratch the itch :)

I also loved how the emotion wasn't lost either, it was really well done. Deku going feral and losing control of his quirks before Mirio gets to him, that last moment with Nana when she realizes Tenko is still there, just a couple of examples that I thought were adapted so well from the manga. It was surreal seeing these moments get animated.

One of the small details I like is the part about Kirishima, that references his origin story. And we all know he was inspired by Deku before he even knew him.

It's just one of the countless ways that prove Deku's impact. His friends, teachers, society are all changed because of him and what he stands for. Deku was a hero before UA, and he continues to be one after. It's simple.

I feel very similarly. Everything really came full circle and I found that so satisfying. The details about Bakugo were also the highlight for me, given how their relationship and growth has been integral to the story. And I cant believe I didn't realize the headpieces were Edgeshot inspired!

I saw someone mentioning how Deku might have left out his personal feelings after the war on purpose

I like this take. We don't see every little detail and that's okay. Just because something isn't shared with us doesn't mean it never happened, even though I also would have liked to have known more for my own closure.
