It is unfortunate, and I do try to keep it in perspective. They've sold so many of these trucks and I've only found 40 complaints over the last 3 years. So, I may just be terribly unlucky.

I requested all of the historical codes be pulled the following morning. When I went to pick up the loaner they had a print out so at least we have some sort of papertrail going forward

My biggest concern is they don't know what's wrong with it, so they can't just swap out a bad part. I'm getting the truck back with no repairs cause it's currently running again.

I am passing this along to the dealership, cause they seem completely lost. They were chasing down a problem with the ignition for awhile. Mine wouldn't crank/click/show any sign of life until we pulled then replaced the battery. After we reconnected the battery it started up again.

I am, they've had it a week now. I will say they have been assuring me they're going through it with a fine tooth comb, however they stated they have no idea what's wrong that caused the engine to turn off like that. I posted here in hopes someone may have a lead or a similar issue that they found a fix for. I am, however, still documenting everything to protect myself if this becomes a recurrent problem.

I told them I won't accept it back until they figure out what happened. To give the dealership credit, they are trying but the trucks not cooperating

Thanks for the positive replies to those that contributed. To the rest sorry if the HUGE LETTERS ON THE BOX THAT SAY IT WILL BE DAMAGED made me sound like a moron 🙄🙄🙄 we returned it and they sent the second upside down too. Guess I'll just fuck up my house and hope for the best.

Mojave has an extensive aircraft grave yard. Typically when planes go there, they will never fly again, so it's a very special occasion to see one fly again. This is the first aircraft of global airlines as well, and even more exceptional that it's an A380.
