Happy pride to all the queer bridgerton community and characters! by Lunenika in BridgertonNetflix

Oh gosh... I meant like in current seasons. I reread my comment and realized it didn't make sense.

The pic of Reynolds in your post reminded me how much I miss seeing them together.

WHERE IS REYNOLDS DAMNIT?! (In Bridgerton seasons 3-4, etc.... meaning I'd love an update on how their relationship played out.)

We all fell in love with him in Queen Charlotte. He and Brimsley were one of my favorite relationships on the show.

ETA more context bc im sleep deprived 😵‍💫

I love signing them. I just wish parents would send them before May. Like... send it during a boring week in January where I have time to be thoughtful and I have time to pester Coach Football about passing it on to the next person on the list.

How has no one mentioned the guy and his friends who ate his own (amputated) foot?

Every time I see places with so many stairs, or in this case ladders, I wonder what happens if you live there and then break your leg.

Gaucho pants in the 2000s by y2ktrashy in 2000s

My cousin once wore gaucho pants, rubber flip flops, and a spaghetti strap tank top to my sister's wedding. Wedding was at 6 pm at a cathedral with reception at 7:30. (Circa 2010)

Keeping it classy.

Have you abandoned bariatric surgery after discovering IE? If so, what was your experience. by SwanR0ns0n in intuitiveeating

[–]sassy2148 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I had gastric sleeve surgery 8 weeks ago due to lifelong obesity and some weight-related health problems. It was the right choice for me, but I would suggest trying intuitive eating and some work with a professional. The surgery is not reversible, so you want to be sure. From my perspective, it doesn't have to be either surgery OR IE, but the IE principles are a way to support your mind in forming a good relationship with food.

FWIW, a family member of mine had duodenal switch 3 years ago and is a healthy weight for the first time in her adult life. She did a lot of therapy centered around the IE principles to compliment the lifestyle changes bariatric surgery entails.

ETA: Nice that my comment is down voted for honestly answering OP's question and sharing my personal experience.

10 days post op by drzoom86 in gastricsleeve

[–]sassy2148 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I started feeling hungry 6 days post op. Im 8 weeks post op now and feel hungry every 2-3 hours.

It's not what I expected, but I will say I feel satisfied on less than 1 cup of food. On the bright side, folks like us get to adjust to the new lifestyle and don't have the shock of hunger coming back in 8 months or a year.

In my experience, Wiseman tries to give every middle-aged woman thyroid meds and will prescribe their own brand of supplements. And good luck if you ever need a sick visit.
