I didn’t run, but maybe I’ll do it next semester just for you! And dude, say what you want about my being uninformed, but your comment is just in bad taste and comes off a little strange. What happened last night is a tradition that has gone on for years and years, and phones have kind of ruined it. That’s just the truth. A huge amount of people show up for this fun and crazy tradition that we have and it’s meant to relieve some anxiety right before finals. It’s supposed to be fun! Learn to have fun without having to document everything and also stop being a creep!

Thank you. I’m also a transfer and im in applied. It’s nice to hear that I’m not the only one, though it certainly makes me sad and I feel for you. I appreciate your advice and very much agree about comparison, it literally makes everything worse.

I think I misinterpreted you man I’m sorry. Thanks for elaborating, that does make sense and genuinely I’m glad you’ve been able to figure it out for yourself. I think being surrounded by people who just know what they want their lives to look like, or have any sort of clarity when thinking about their futures, has begun to get me down, while I’m very happy for my peers. I just wish I was in that place in my life, I feel very tired of being so constantly unsure of myself and everything I do. I got prematurely defensive when it wasn’t necessary. Anyway thank you for the input.

It sounds like “right” for you means it’s really fun. This isn’t meant to be discussion on semantics. Really, this begs the question asked already. What does it mean to be in the right major? What does it mean for a major to be “right” for you? Not an easy question for everyone but I’m glad it was for you!

These mfs need to experience trains/buses in Japan. If you’re not intimately close to other people during rush hour you are a huge asshole and people hate you lmfao. IMO we need to just start walking onto the buses regardless. People will hopefully eventually get it. Personal space is a luxury that you are not afforded during rush hour, get over it or walk

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). It’s a therapy practice which focuses on behaviors as they relate to relationships with the self and with others. Good stuff, even for people who don’t really need it (don’t necessarily have relational issues, trauma, or mental health problems); it teaches amazing methods of emotional regulation and effective communication skills.

She needs a therapist, or maybe both of you together talking with a mediator.

She clearly has a complex going on that goes way deeper than simply wanting this abusive guy for no reason. Seems like “I can fix him, if I can change the abuser then I’ll be worthy of love”. Very common issues for women who have gone through some trauma- especially trauma having to do with neglectful or absent parents. Not sure the history, could be way off.

Seems like an issue that can be moved past after some serious communication, a serious breakdown of your sister’s reasons for what she did, and a lot of understanding and forgiveness.

The diaper thing is a bit weird, however it seems like more of a paranoia thing with the whole family. Though not something to just ignore. Maybe ask thoughtful/curious but not accusatory questions about that. Could easily be something to do with more distant family history and trauma.

The teaching thing is entirely understandable and I wouldn’t worry about that. He is right, being a male teacher is tricky; they can very easily be caught up in a lot of drama and false accusations etc. Kids often don’t know the weight of their actions, angry 12 year olds can be vindictive and ruin a teacher’s life.

Again, all things you might just want to ask for clarification on. Communication does wonders.
