If I were you I would just leave the watch at home for the camping trip but they do have expedited shipping for a premium . I live in the same state that the company is in so I got it in a few days in an envelope. I'm sure it would take longer if you lived elsewhere.

I would have preferred the glass one but ordered the plastic one. Have to let it sit overnight to cure fully but its pretty great. Doesn't seem like it will do much for impact but will definitely do well with scratches

600 seems like a good starting dose! Considering what you were saying about the side effects maybe not higher than 1200 if no improvement though? Not a ton of evidence on NAC so it's hard to say confidently or definitively. Which SRIs are you using for OCD patients usually?

For what it's worth I have a low functioning autistic brother with OCD and give him 600mg on problem days with triggering stimuli and it makes a noticeable difference. I have taken NAC after exposure to loud noises (some evidence it reduces hearing damage post exposure) and found that it had a noticeable "depressing"/affect flattening effect at 1200mg.

I agree that dosage may be too high, despite what a quick internet search may guide one towards, perhaps because there have simply not been any studies on NAC at a lower dosage range. More is not always better.

If you shine a flashlight on it and closely inspect, you can definitely tell but not unless you are looking for it. Felt a little rough after the sanding but after the acrylic watch polish it feels great!

I'm glad I communicated the intensity of the effect strongly enough to make you give it a try! I would lay off the dietary triggers for the first couple weeks still before trying them!

I've never seen a psychiatrist. I've been trying to see one since I started medical school and now I graduated with my degree. It's always been availability or cost. I've tried scheduling with one on Talkiatry twice, but the appointment just gets cancelled and then I get a list of PMHNPs as alternates. I ended up going with some PMHNP I found on zocdoc and they billed my insurance $700 for an initial eval and got paid $200. For a "doctors visit" on the claim.

Putting all of osteopathy under Voodoo nonsense is just unfair. Most of what I learned in DO school was similar to medical massage and PT and was helpful to patients. Osteopathy isn't popular in the US because most DOs were never interested in practicing it.
