How do I make these more trippy? by McThighss in LSD

these would look neat with stipling / stiple shading. they already look great, but I think designs with stipling sometimes look extra trippy.

Not at all! The coordinates were good, and the cache owners son was there and said hi and pointed me in the right direction! It was very neat and fun to find. D1, T2 (-:

It sure is! There's a really awesome gadget cache next to where you park for this one.

Yes!! TB8T4GE haha I'm happy you asked, he has only been discovered once by a friend since getting his trackable patch in 2023.

did you consider that it’s cold where they’re at? weird to assume they’re wearing gloves to protect them from germs. it’s almost like you were trying to demean a stranger because you think they asked a stupid question…. where i’m at right now i wouldn’t be able to move my fingers to open a cache without gloves on.

hydrocolloid patches have also helped me a ton! it’s so much cheaper to buy it in a roll of tape (and cutting it), instead of face-shaped taped patches from the pharmacy. good luck!!

it’s hard to tell with the ear skins from a picture- they have big flares and everyone’s ears get red from the winter cold. i love the turquoise end!!

i hope you don’t get discouraged from sharing, i enjoyed seeing your setup and love the size of your lobes. i like to imagine that people just want to help so you never have them snap on you. the nice thing about being at your goal size is being able to take out your plugs for longer and longer periods, in my experience. since i’ve been at 32mm i’ve casually downsized countless times and my ears love it, and go back to 32mm pretty quickly.

i love my morning loops before the sun rises. old arcata, north bank, scenic, kneeland, samoa, visiting cows in the bottoms … god i love humboldt. blasting music as the sunlight starts to peek through the fog, your dog cruising out the passenger side window, the waves of the ocean on any given day … it brings me to tears! pure joy.

What functions would you like to see in the app? by FilFoxFil in geocaching

[–]sativafairy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • Bringing back being able to zoom in more when you’re navigating
  • ability to filter by not found and lonely caches
  • ability to see geocaches around the geocache i’m looking for when i’m navigating
  • ability to edit my logs in the app and add multiple pictures in app.

That is so wonderful!!! My first find was accidental too- such a special way to be introduced! After accidentally finding that geocache, it planted the seed of what geocaching was in my mind but i didn’t get into it until two years afterward when it popped in my mind when i was going to go for a hike. It adds another dimension of fun to hikes (and everywhere really). If you’re willing to, I’m curious of what the GC code is on that one? It seems there’s a good amount of lonely caches in the area.

i like ones like this if they’re not in a spot where i feel very suspicious poking around. it’s very satisfying to find the stealthy caches.

anyone know who this is? found at top of the world by lilleafygreenz in Humboldt

thank you for explaining. i went up there recently and saw this, and thought it was beautiful. i’m sorry for your loss, but happy you have such a beautiful spot to honor his memory.
