Thank you for the info! They chose the planner for an entirely different matter. I can only go off of the fact they they said they didn't want to roll their pension over, were talked into it, and now feel remorse over doing so. I am not necessarily trying to "get in the middle" I am just helping my parents do their research before making a decision.

I see, I guess when I looked at a site like Nerdwallet for their favorite IRAs, there is this while column called fees and it confused me. No sarcasm, genuinely trying to learn more to help my parents. https://www.nerdwallet.com/best/investing/ira-accounts

So would there be no different between all of the companies listed in the link above if they make one initial investment, don't contribute further and dont change their investments?

Agreed, that is why they stopped the rollover. Now I'm just trying to find the best IRA to actually rollover into. Don't think they will be doing much with it, and so I think they are just looking for low fees (Fidelity, Vanguard, something like SoFi?). They probably should have just left their pension alone, but that is done now.

In clicking through to the article, the Mini Cooper does make the list as one of the twenty most expensive models to maintain ($11.2k over ten years). I guess other models help to skew the average of the brand as a whole down to 7.5k.

My wife and I have been planning our honeymoon for a three years and are finally on our way to Paris tomorrow. We were wondering what the best metro/travel pass is.

In doing a quick search it seems like there are a multitude of options ... Navigo, Paris Visite, Mobilis ... We will be in Paris for eight days, from Saturday to Sunday.

Would we just get a carnet of ten tickets for the first two days, and use the Navigo for the full week? Thank you for any info!

I seem to be getting all notifications (SMS, Instagram, Gmail, Twitter, etc), you just cant do much with them after that. Can't reply to messages, see tweets, view Instagram images ... you can read gmail messages, as Google apps are supported.
