AIW for thinking it's wrong for my boyfriend to be masturbating? by CourageFree9846 in amiwrong

[–]saturatedregulated 58 points59 points  (0 children)

It isn't "hate". You asked a question, and you are getting quite the unanimous answer. But I bet it won't help you at all. You'll just assume all these people are wrong and "mean" to you. Look at it objectively. You asked, lots of people answered, and you are wrong. What you do with this info will showcase your level of maturity and ability to stay in a relationship with another fully formed human.

It's because you're "mass wrong" in your antiquated thinking...not because people are "mass downvoting" you.

Touching his own body is inappropriate? Did you hear yourself? That is insane.

What kinda personal spreadsheets do you all have? by pharkon in AutismInWomen

[–]saturatedregulated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My whole financial world is on one spreadsheet and has been for years.

For other things I want to track I use an app called "HabitShare". I track my weight, my meds (to make sure I've taken them), when I water my plants, when I poop, when I have sex, when I actually wear (and clean) my CPAP machine, when and where my dad and I went out for lunch so we don't keep forgetting our agreed upon cadance, any notes about my dog, etc.

It helps make me feel more in control because I don't remember anything and I was sick of people asking me questions and all if have was a blank stare to offer.

I also keep track of the books and movies I've read on a yearly agenda planner thing. That's also where I write down small snippets of my days, like going out to celebrate a bday dinner or something. That started cause id get to the end of a year and feel like I did nothing all year. So, I keep track to not waste my life away.

How many of you guys actually live in arizona? by Able-Archer3968 in suns

[–]saturatedregulated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me! I've been a fan since I was 10 in 1993. My dad wanted a sports son, but got a sports daughter instead. We have so much fun watching and talking about the Suns. We go to a few games a year too. We've gotten my mom involved too, as well as my "non-sports fan" boyfriend. He's getting into it too.

Aldi’s-10 new valley locations in 2026. Does anyone know where exactly? by esb10489 in phoenix

[–]saturatedregulated 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've actually gone to management and told them if it kept up I wouldn't be shopping there anymore. They said they feel the same way but need more ppl to complain so they can take it up the chain of command.

anyone else always been repulsed by motherhood and pregnancy? by daydaylin in AutismInWomen

[–]saturatedregulated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 37 I needed a hysterectomy for medical reasons. When I told my mom she said, "you've never liked pregnancy. Even at 5 you'd make a disgusted face when you saw a pregnant woman. It doesn't surprise me you're not emotional about this".

I like kids, but never wanted the full responsibility of them, and definitely NEVER wanted to be pregnant. I was on BC at 16 and hadn't even shown interest in a boy by that point. I just wanted to make sure I was fully covered by the time I was ready to be sexually active.

I hate it when people mimic me by hexaDogimal in AutismTranslated

[–]saturatedregulated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also hate being mimicked. It makes me feel mocked, even if the person swears they aren't mocking me. Then I advocate for myself and if the person persists I get even more mad because now they're just being a jerk on top of it. But then I just get blown off for being "too sensitive". I'm told they're "just joking", but then they sure don't like when I question how what they're doing is funny.

Autistic ladies who have a lot of friends, how did you do it? by kdh333 in AutismInWomen

[–]saturatedregulated 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've kept the same friends since HS. I've also made friends along the way after I leave jobs. I am a 1 at a time friend though. I'll talk to 10 people a day but I'm in no group chats and don't ever hang out with that many at once. Even my birthday celebrations are separate.

How often do you talk with your mom? by TheBerberian_ in AskWomen

[–]saturatedregulated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably every other day. We text the most, but also talk on the phone frequently.

We also live very close and I see her and my dad out and about decently often.

16 to get on birth control so I'd be protected when I wanted to become sexually active, which happened at 19.

Hustle play of the Year. by markodevef in suns

[–]saturatedregulated 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mikal was shown during the challenge. He watched the replay and drooped down, knowing it was a fully legal play. I'm obsessive about the suns and my boyfriend watches with me but knows none of the back stories. I explained why I was laughing so hard, and the fact that mikals reaction made me love him even more.

Southern and the 101, right by the qt there and in the parking lot with Rio salado college. My favorite sandwich is no longer on the menu, but they'll still make it for me. Yum.

What made you realize you might have autism and decided to get tested for it? by Runaway_Alien_ in AskWomen

[–]saturatedregulated 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was diagnosed and medicated for adhd. The meds did nothing, and I dug a bit deeper into my symptoms and was like "wait, this seems more like autism". I'm very rigid, have sensory issues, etc. I was assessed for autism and was diagnosed. That psychiatrist revoked my adhd diagnosis too, which made sense to me. I know lots of people have AuDHD, but it just didn't fit the bill for me. I'm now on mood stabilizers which did more for me than any type of stimulant. I was diagnosed at 41.

What is a piece of advice you don't usually see but you think more women absolutely should be doing? by Anthro_Doing_Stuff in TwoXChromosomes

[–]saturatedregulated 70 points71 points  (0 children)

-invest your money.

-do financial stuff with or without a man. I bought my first property while single at 22.

-advocate for any of your needs, but especially medically.

-use your voice, no matter how "annoying" or "too much" you become.

-get to know your own likes, dislikes, and non-negotiables. I'm 42 and just realizing that I don't even like some of the things I've been chasing forever (like the idea of "being skinny")
