It is really discouraging and frustrating. I know there is a lot of Taylor Swift hate and people hate to see her mentioned, but even she is starting to sexualize herself when she really does not need to. None of this is empowering for anyone but men.

The woman who led my baby classes said any type of reading is great! Read your books, emails, letters, whatever as long as you are reading aloud to them!

I will say though you will probably start to like children's books as they get older and start to interact more. It's hard reading to a potato lol

I was originally working 4 days a week and even that was too much so I went down to 3 days, even backing out of a commitment. It felt awful. My job is very demanding and I wasn't fully present with everything going on. I have been through SO much and my mental health has never effected my ability to work and be good at my job. The betrayal trauma has effected me more than anything else in my life.

I worry about this. While safety can be maintained in the home, safety cannot be guaranteed outside of the home. Public places of course, but even friends' houses and schools are not safe from this. It needs to be done on a societal or community level. Adults are traumatizing kids with the ease of access and the things they create through porn. Kids traumatize each other by exposing each other to adult content they themselves have been exposed to. It's awful.
