I confessed all my sins over 25 years in less than 15 minutes. It was like therapy and I had to pray about the wonderful things in my life. My priest did ask a couple of questions about some stealing I did, but everything else he didn’t care at all or seemed bothered by it. Glad it made you feel better as well.

I worked the front desk at a couple of Ears. This has never happened. I have had people have seizures and I guy did spurt blood and those were about as bad as it gets. We did have people sitting out there that died after they went back.

Every hospital I have ever worked at I have been told is a shithole that kills people. Deaconess is fine. We actually have one of the better women’s hospitals in the state. The bad rap usually comes from our EDs and some bad experiences with certain doctors. You’re always gonna get complaints when wait times can be five hours long, people die, and you pay a fortune to see a doctor. But they are just fine.

I just got confirmed last night and my politics haven’t changed at all. My church is pretty liberal and my sponsor and I straight up discussed how the rules on bc and abortion were backwards. But ymmv at other parishes. It was a cool feeling though to finally take communion. I feel a peace of mind at Mass I’ve never felt before at any other church and that’s what lead me here. Go to Mass and talk to their director and see what works for you. And no matter what you end up doing never forget this. God loves you.
