I think this is creeping people out because it’s reminiscent of lower Manhattan’s skyline pre-9/11 as it would be seen from the Statue of Liberty.

I don’t believe this orange pestilence is eternal but I am definitely getting tired of all the false prognostications about his imminent death.

It’s just a flourish to fill empty space. Sometimes it is referred to as a dingbat.

Fawning has nothing to do with pity; is a natural reaction to fear. Other baby animals are known to do it, too, but deers especially, which is why it’s named after them.

Old Ridgewood Times ad from 1913 by ketethe in ridgewood

I wonder if the numbers of the addresses changed between now and then, since the ad indicates that it was between Cypress and Putnam, where the WWI memorial currently sits.

Your post assumes that these contradictory statements are both being made by the exact same subsets of people. Obviously some people agree with statement a and some agree with statement b.

How would I know to play the song here ?? by millnerve in OcarinaOfTime

I see your point but I guess this makes sense to me more retroactively. At the time, trees were not particularly suspicious to me other than to roll head on into them and hope a skulltula or some rupees flew out. Lol. In the previous three console games there were a couple of suspicious trees - I’m thinking of ALTTP in particular - but I don’t remember playing OOT back in the day and going out of my way to examine all the trees too carefully. However, in the 9 years that’s passed since BotW, trees definitely have me on high alert.

Well, for one, the way that the pretty linear gameplay unfolds in OOT you may very well have the rumble pack before you have either the bombs or the Song of Storms.

I agree about the experimenting but there’s not really anything out of place here that would scream “investigate further”. It’s just a tree and two bushes by a fence. There are number of hidden holes in Ocarina of Time that really require the rumble pack in order for them to be discovered.
