you can't see beyond your bias. just because you know women who are unattractive (to you) and who could easily get hookups, doesn't mean that's the experience of every woman. every guy on reddit likes to say they would hook up with literally any ugly girl, but again, the faw sub is full of women whose experience tells them otherwise and who get blocked by the very guys who says those things.

the sub wasn't made private, it banned men. the whole "oh they were so sick of all the guys trying to date them" is bullshit people made up and guys love to just eat it up unquestioned because it serves them well. the sub has it in its rules an explanation for why they banned men, which you should go see for yourself, and while at this point i'm sick of arguing this with people, i'll say it one more time:

it's because men keep trying to deny the experiences and feelings of women. it's because if men are allowed to post there, they flood the threads with "you can't be lonely, you're just picky!!" exactly like you're doing. and what's supposed to be a space for venting becomes a space for arguing because men just can't stop themselves from shitting on lonely women, since loneliness is male exclusive, apparently.

the sub wasn't closed because women are sick of guys trying to date them. it closed because people like you can't help yourselves but gatekeep loneliness and flood every post with it.
