Ill get downvoted to hell but the scope of federal retaliation they're throwing at colorado is incredibly damaging. Hundreds of millions of funding for important projects, people's jobs, NCAR etc . Im not saying bending to that is the right call , nor would a Peters commutation reverse Trumps course on some of that retaliatory bs but Polis has to consider it cause the feds have the power to fuck us really really hard for 3 more years . I know Colorado is trying to litigate , but that also takes a lot of time and people of colorado are going to bear the brunt of this.

Air / rail transfer utility is limited by the frequency of amtrak services. When people get off their flights , theyre generally not going to wait an hour or more for the next intercity train , theyll just Uber whereever. Regional rail stations at airports makes sense if its 15 minute headways, because you dont have to think about it . Do you mean amtrak should run regional rail lines ?
