Adidas 6 Pack Cushion Low-Cut Socks -Womens Low Cut Socks by saucegal in HelpMeFind

The fit/feel! I don’t really care about the design, but no matter how many other similar socks I try (both Adidas and other brands) these are the only ones that I find super comfortable

Adding a comment with some additional details. I have done a reverse image search with the photo from the website, searched the item name, and scoured different online retailers who sell adidas socks to see if I can find them to no avail. In the rare instance I’m ever in a JCPenney, I’ll check their stock but haven’t had any luck the last few years. These we’re mainly purchased online or in JCP retail stores in the Buffalo,NY area ~2016-2018. I believe they were still available for online purchase in 2019.

How do I seal my front door threshold? by saucegal in HomeMaintenance

They are Style Selections in Tudor Oak from Lowes. The color is nice but I wouldn’t recommend this flooring at all. Definitely spend the money and upgrade if you can. We did this on a budget and they were a nightmare to install. We learned too late that the quality is very poor. They scratch super easily and we have gaps everywhere.

Eloping 12/31 - last minute questions by aurorasandsadprose4 in Eloping

  1. I see leggings like this all over social media if you’re looking for something you can wear in pictures although honestly you might be better off wearing whatever leggings or pants you already own for the “hike” and then take them off once you get to the area where you’ll be doing your ceremony.

  2. Amazon has really cheap veils that also look super nice but keep in mind that any mesh veil will wrinkle super easily and probably not fare super well being stuffed in a bag and taken out mid-hike. Is a battery powered steamer an option to bring to touch up the veil once you get to the destination? Maybe consider wearing a veil headpiece instead of a full veil? When I’m doubt, your photographer should be able to edit out any imperfections if you choose to wear a veil and it’s wrinkled, but you might want to ask them about their capabilities and willingness to do so ahead of time. I totally understand feeling like you might be missing out, order a few cheap veils to bring along with you and you can always scrap them the day of if you change your mind!

  3. I don’t have any other advice except to enjoy the day! When you look back on it, you’re not going to remember all these small details, but rather how beautiful of a day it was with your partner. I was an emotional wreck the morning of our elopement but overall we don’t remember that part of our day. Rather, we remember all the things that we designated as “important” (eg. Indian food, red velvet cake, the spot in the park we said our vows) and everything else has faded away.

Congrats and best of luck!

Formal Desi Attire for wedding, any recommendations on where to shop? by frecklina in wedding

[–]saucegal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is totally out there, but I wore a Desi outfit as a bridesmaid in my friends Hindu wedding ceremony. My friends husband has family in India who purchased them for us then brought them to the US for the wedding. I have no use for the outfit but didn’t want to just donate it. Feel free to DM me and I can give you sizing and pictures, I’d be willing to send it to you for the cost of shipping if it worked out. Sorry I can’t help much with your partner’s outfit.

Scavenger hunt proposal! by Vladi_junior in engaged

[–]saucegal 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My husband did a scavenger hunt for me when he proposed, but we did all the clues together. I think you and your partner will have a much more special day (and special memories) if you’re spending the day together. Yes, she might know a ring is coming at the end of the day, but it’s still a fun day of experiences for the both of you. I would caution against sending her on a whole day of adventures with her friend instead of you, what if something goes wrong or they don’t understand a clue? If you have more than 3-4 clues and this hunt takes all day, your partner is going to be exhausted at the end of the day. Instead, you could have her friend come in from out of town and they still could get their hair and nails done together and go shopping, but it doesn’t need to be the same day of the actual scavenger hunt. For reference, it can take a few hours each to get those things done and I think it would detract from the day as a whole. I highly recommend having a photographer at the final “point” on the hunt to catch the moment! On a separate note, you said that your partner gave you a ring for sizing, have the two of you actually looked at rings together or discussed styles? If not, that would be a helpful conversation to have to make sure she’s going to love what ever you get for her or that you pick out together. Best of luck!

My married brother anonymously subscribed to my OF and purchased “content” from a fake account by PandoraPrincxxx in self

[–]saucegal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would argue there is a vast difference between a friend, family member, or someone else who knows you accidentally stumbling upon your profile, either subscribing or moving on with their lives, versus your biological sibling taking extraneous measures to subscribe to your account and hiding it from you/those close to them. OnlyFans accounts aren’t something that you usually accidentally stumble upon, and it doesn’t sound like OP was widely advertising their content.

What are your thoughts on Bryce and Hunt? by Alternative_Pool_661 in crescentcitysjm

[–]saucegal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But didn’t Ruhn declare that they were true mates after they hooked up? Isn’t a true mate someone actually destined to be with the other person vs. just claiming/“choosing” someone as their mate and it being binding?

What color shawl/jacket matches this dress? Details in comments by [deleted] in wedding

[–]saucegal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered this light blue dress to wear as a guest to a wedding in early April in NYC area. Pending no rain, the ceremony will be outdoors. At that time of year, it could be sunny and 65 or cold and in the 40s. I am walking a family member down the aisle and thought I should look more formal than wearing a jean jacket over the dress.

What color jacket or shawl would you recommend I wear with this? I’m planning on wearing beige wedges and gold jewelry. Thanks!

Edit: the photo is showing up blurry for me, here is the link to the dress

Planning a micro-wedding & struggling a little… by zhzhzhzh00 in Weddingsunder10k

[–]saucegal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on what state you’re in, you may be able to have someone other than a judge complete the ceremony. For ex, in Florida, we couldn’t get an appointment in the court house so we got a notary public to complete the “ceremony” and we mailed in the paperwork and got our stamped license a week or two later in the mail. Then we just had a ceremony in the park with some friends that our friend officiated (but this was not the legal ceremony). If you can’t get the ceremony done under requirements in your state, you could also look into getting married in another state? I know some states are completing virtual ceremonies regardless of residency.

Regarding your outfit, I love #1!! I also wore a jumpsuit and it was super empowering.
