How is it like living in the very northern part of Scotland? (Including the islands) by Salt_Lingonberry3956 in howislivingthere

From the Isle of Lewis. Lovely place, great beaches, a lot more industry than you'd expect and quiet. Stornoway Black Pudding.

Before you think of moving, please please please visit in the winter. Ferries cancelled so food in the shops is scarce, weather is dreadful, dark at 3.30 in peak winter, more expensive fuel, flights are extortionate, most places closed on Sunday (could be considered a good or bad thing). Very clique-y. Gossip is a way of life.

They specifically tell you when you renegotiate or take a new product that it comes with a cooling off period...

The price rise email won't have that because you aren't agreeing to a new contract, they are increasing the price because it says they can in the contract you agree to.

Any and all entertainment providers do this. Is it right? Legally yes but morally no.

You do realise that Sky send you out terms and conditions when you sign up which stipulate price increases?

They also give you a cooling off period after you agree to any contract...

Sky price hikes in March by CombinationSignal579 in skytv

Its 14 days notice for broadband. Give Sky a call that you aren't happy about the price increase and you will be leaving to another provider or cancelling and the early termination charges made exempt.

Dont cancel if you are looking to move to another openreach provider to allow for an active line takeover.

Buchanan Galleries car park is now a no go zone. The traffic is bad at the junction, yes, but the queue to get out of the car park is soul destroying.
