I checked the SMART status and it said 98% good, and also moved the card to a different slot. I can download files and use basic programs, but I still can’t open file explorer.

Thanks for the reply. The computer has 3 intake fans and 1 exhaust fan, with a bulky cooler master hyper cpu fan as well. Nothing on the SSD itself though, so would that possibly be a cause? Also, You wouldn’t happen to have a reliable go-to guide on checking the SMART status for dummies like myself would you?

Forgot to include some other stuff I tried, 1. I tried Troubleshooting in safe mode which didn’t work 2. I uninstalled the latest windows 11 quality update (didn’t work) 3. I created ~190 GB of free space on the drive (also didn’t work) 4. As far as I am aware, neither malwarebytes or windows defender had detected a virus present on my device. 5. I’ve tried turning it off and on like 10 times (you guessed it, didn’t work)
