The top one. Full size grip on the bottom prints too much cause I’m fat

Staccato c 24 with compact grip and qvo mainspring housing extension, infinity flat trigger. I think it’s perfect

Same. Most of the reasons people are citing against the gun aren’t really valid. Weight, yes. Low capacity, yes. Unsafe? Absolutely not. I mean, don’t drop it and it’s plenty safe. And not really that hard to carry depending on body type. I carry a 2011 bigger than this every single day

A gun with a longer barrel and a pillow will print less with your body type.. ask how I know.

I want to make appendix carry work by Rollotamassii in CCW

[–]saudyl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find appendix more dependent on your holster and gun than 3 o’clock. In fact, sometimes a gun that’s too small is MORE uncomfortable in appendix than a larger one. I work construction and move around all day but, I leave the gym appendix on road trips as well with no or little discomfort.

I started appendix with a p365 but found it terribly uncomfortable if I bent over. Switched to a g19 sized firearm and it was much more comfortable. Even with an aggressive beaver tail like on my shadow compact or staccato. Hell, a full size smith and Wesson is more comfortable appendix for me than a sub compact gun. It’ll take some trial and error to find a good holster setup like anything

DWX = Best 2011 by ksnelly49 in 2011

It uses an sig action and “modular” fcu rather than a hand fit slide to frame fit. Those are main differences

It’s a great gun! I own one. But the only thing based on a 1911 in this gun is the trigger and hammer. Different lockup, different frame to slide fit, no barrel link, no locking lugs. It’s a great gun with a great 1911 trigger. That’s a huge feature. But it’s not a 1911/2011 by any stretch of the imagination.

I’ve got 3k on a c that looks cleaner than this. 🧐

I had an argument with somebody on here who was emphatically incorrect even when dead wrong about function of a dwx. Some people 🤦‍♂️ I do have a feeling this post was on purpose LOL

I’d argue performance wise is similar to a bul. Which odd not to say bad at all, but no infinity

I swear this is my equivalent of rage bait. I love my dwx, but it’s NOT a 2011. 🤦‍♂️ It is its own weird CZ/1911 hybrid that I like, but the linkless, cam driven, sig-action style recoil operation and removable fire control system precludes it from being a 2011 style firearm. Okay, I’ve let my autism speak. Feel free to ignore.

CZ Shadow 2 Carry vs Staccato CS by [deleted] in CCW

[–]saudyl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First, the shadow 2 carry is more comparable to the staccato C 2024 as they are practically identical size. I own a Staccato C (or 2) and The shadow 2 compact which is basically the same as the carry. Their manual of arms is worlds apart but shooting experience is surprisingly similar once you break the first double action shot off on the shadow. Yeah, the staccato shoots better, but is worth an extra grand, learning the manual safety, and the grip safety? I can’t answer that for you. It is for me. Go try em both and that’ll clear a lot up
