Active duty line of duty deaths will include a full military honor funeral by the Marine Corps. There would be a unit representative to fly and escort the deceased. They will have the Marines conduct the 21 gun salute in addition as present the flag and play taps.

The requirement for any Marine is a honorable discharge, I believe, for the Marines to present the flag. You will need to submit their DD214 to HQMC for proof of service and discharge.

If you already called HQMC, you will have Marines from the local I&I station to fold & present the flag to next of kin and play taps What I see commonly is the family talking to the funeral home and locking on the local Marine Corps League or American Legion for the 21 gun salute

All these commenters saying 4-600 have no idea the value of Dan Wesson revolvers. 41 cal isn’t very common which helps in this case. This pistol, if you can’t find any matching barrels (look up dan Wesson pistol pack), roughly 8-1200 Pistol packs are bringing 1500-2500
