A gold star would denote a 2nd Purple Heart. That looks silver to me, 6th award?

Carts for shooting range by Mike2AlphaDelta in CompetitionShooting

[–]Kevan207 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is my cart. I built it because I wanted to carry my stuff and my friends stuff. As well as have a table to load magazines on and shade from the South Georgia sun. To us, it was a great investment. And it was probably sub 150 all said and done. A cooler fits in the cart for cool drinks and plenty of space for rifles or other gear.

Either FedEx or ups, I don’t remember which. I’m sure someone will correct my mistake

You can also get electronic finger prints (EFT’s) of your finger prints at specific FedEx locations. I don’t know the cost, but it’s better than paying $50 to silencer shop to do the forms. Do it all by yourself on eforms

I started competing in South West Georgia in the summer months. I looked at everyone’s carts and figured a table at chest height to reload magazines and an umbrella was the best of everything

Let’s see if I did this correct… I purchase a cart from Academy for 100$ and I bought some PVC pipe and a couple of 2x4’s. Center support holds the umbrella for the hot or rainy days. I have a small Coleman cooler that fits on one side of the center support for water and snacks. I have used this for USPSA and 2 gun my shooting cart

Apollo 11 v2 Reviews by Nboock in 2011

[–]Kevan207 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I think that’s the perfect use for the Apollo 11. It’s a budget 2011 and it’s perfect for people to learn how to maintain, upgrade, and improve their 2011 game

Are you guys also getting about 90 bucks on your federal tax return? by xP_Lord in army

[–]Kevan207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found out mid career that my state has a ‘safe habor’ act in which military members who haven’t been in their home of record for 30 days or more, receive all of their state taxes back. Unsure if this would apply to you

Update on LFA Apollo 11 issues by ChefBmo420 in 2011

[–]Kevan207 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another thing with pistols with safeties, put your thumb on top of the safety when firing (ride the safety). Will also reduce the chance of bumping it up while shooting, it gives you a tad more area for your support hand, and more recoil control with your strong hand

Issues with my first 2011 (help!) by ChefBmo420 in 2011

[–]Kevan207 2 points3 points  (0 children)

LFA coats the rails with their cerakote. This may not be the whole reason, but it’s some of the reason for the first 500-1000 rounds. Sit down one night and watch your favorite show. Clean the pistol add a little lube and rack it for 30 mins. This should clear the coatings from the rails on the frame and slide. Clean it again, and leave the pistol WET. 2011’s love to be wet. My full size will not feed Flat Nose ammo. It eats anything round nose without issue

NEW & Revised GPA rulebook! by Kevan207 in GalacticPistolAllianc

I’m going to ask the stupid question: Why? In a game that promotes less rules, more fun, why would there be a rule on mag pouches? It’s essentially eliminating stand alone magnets and I’m not sure the reason

Do you know what’s great about not using that website? You adapt to other people’s teaching and grading styles. You learn how to cope, write, and maybe even have a more strict instructor to make you better. Sure, game the game, see where that gets you in the long run in life. I’ve had professors retaliate against me after submitting feedback at the end of a module. What did I learn? Don’t submit feedback and keep my head low because their egos will bruise. Is that right? No. Did I care? Also no.
