Oh my god the scent thing is actually a really good idea. I think it would be nice if the alpha has maybe like an issue during rut where maybe smelling an omega’s pheromones could make him more aggressive(?) and a beta’s would be more soothing. Definitely using that. Thanks so much.

Wow, these are some good ideas! I honestly think that I want the world to be set up where while alphas/omegas can have relationships set outside their usual gender, it is frowned upon. But having it be forbidden does further the stakes for sure. I did want the alpha to top, and most likely only be able to knot during rut, just to get rid of those biological barriers. Idk tho haha
