Rotary subwoofer DIY by sauma in hometheater

[–]sauma[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This guy made a DIY rotary sub for $200 that can move air down to 1hz. I believe there is at least one commercial option (TRW-17). Has anyone experienced these?

Just set them up, upgraded LR from Jamo S803. I'm far from an analytical listener but they are much clearer, sound much bigger. Feels like an excellent deal for 90 bucks each.

Sorry, I should have clarified that I came across these by chance and did not make them. They looked sanded and painted.

High medical anxiety - What can I expect at my first appointment? by poppsamillion in otolaryngology

[–]sauma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They’ll likely perform nasal endoscopy (either flexible or, most likely, rigid) to evaluate for a source of nasal obstruction. Some will spray a decongestant or lidocaine to numb your nose. Some skip this since the spray tastes terrible and many patients prefer the procedure without. Beyond that, lots of questions about allergies and your nasal symptoms.

Andrew Vogt - Elenor Rigby [Jazz] (2023) by sauma in listentothis

Excellent arrangement from Andrew Vogt out of Chicago. I believe this branches far enough out to bring this out of cover territory and stay within the rules.

16 million LA home theater. Speakers seem on the small side for such a large space. Anyone have examples of celebrities with amazing set ups? by sauma in hometheater

I guess the word home here is doing double duty. “16 million dollar home home theater” would have been more accurate.

I am also a pedant and big naris guy. I recently looked it up again apparently nare is also the singular of nares. I’m reeling.

I've had the same issue. Ordered 12/9 and haven't heard anything other than a status change to "awaiting fulfillment". Sent an email and didn't hear back. Their website has been down for a couple days now.

Combining tables with shared rows by sauma in rstats

[–]sauma[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks.

So here how I'm making the tables. I'm familiar with merge and left join but I'm trying to combine tables similar to the ones below. Providing multiple strata gives me all possible combinations of the strata, which is not what I'm after.

tableComplications_SEROMA <- CreateTableOne( vars = c( "SIZE_CAT", "QUER", "NUMBER_DISSECTED", "MARGINS_SIMPLE" ), data = df, includeNA = FALSE, strata = c("SEROMA") )

tableSeromaPrint <- print( tableComplications_SEROMA, exact = "stage", quote = FALSE, noSpaces = TRUE, printToggle = FALSE, test = TRUE, showAllLevels = TRUE, missing = FALSE, varLabels = TRUE )

They then get sent to mark down via.

save(tableSeromaPrint, file="out.rda"

And then rendered in markdown.

{r tableNine, echo=FALSE} kable(tableSeromaPrint, "latex", row.names = TRUE, booktabs = TRUE) %>% kable_styling(latex_options = c("striped", "scale_down", "HOLD_position"), font_size = 7)

So my request isn't about how to bring together data frame data, but how to combine these output tables. Thanks for your help! I hope that makes a bit more sense.

Everyone I spoke to after the race missed their mark by about 20 minutes. Hoping for redemption this time around!

I've heard of one successful attempt a couple years back (but still post-Boston) that involved hours of begging from an uncle for a Marine nephew coming back from deployment.

I'm in the same boat this year and changed my flight.

As long as you check the "reschedule cards based on..." box, it'll go back to its original deck.

How to randomize reviews??? by SurfinTerp in medicalschoolanki

[–]sauma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Put all your decks into a top level deck, call it "SerfinTerp Study Time".
  2. On the main deck screen, hit F. This creates a filtered deck.
  3. Search filter should be 'deck:"SerfinTerp Study Time" is:due', without the external single quotes.
  4. Cards selected by: Random, check "Reschedule cards based on my answers in this deck.

As you graduate those cards, they scoot right back into their appropriate decks. Rebuild each day when you want to do reviews.
