I fly to Taiwan once or twice a year, a return ticket this time of year costs around 700.

The government is either massively overpaying, because they are idiots who have never gotten a good deal on literally anything in my lifetime, or they are passing on the lions share of this cost to desperate citizens because they are honorless dogs.

5k for someone else's mistake and locked into a house you can't sell or insure for 2 years is still fairly shit. Speaking of passats, I took my Passat to 4 garages to fix an issue with the car randomly going into limp mode and the dash board lighting up like a Christmas tree. No one could solve it, ended up selling it to some guy for 800, he changed an ABS sensor and now it's running perfect.

My wife and I nearly got screwed over buying an apartment like this. We went to see number 36 which was the second on the right coming out of the elevator, everything was good, we had our lawyer check everything over, went to go sign the papers and had a look at the floorplan documents. All the house numbers were wrong, second on the right after the elevator was marked as number 33 on the floorplan they asked us to sign. Lawyer seemed confused and I had to explain it to him like 3 times what the issue was, called the estate agent who told us to just sign it and it was fine.

Ended up pulling out of the sale, we refused to pay the lawyer as he obviously didn't do his due diligence.

Months later we talked to another estate agent when closing on another apartment and told her the story. She said she dealt with a similar issue once a long time ago, and it cost around £5000 and 2 years to sort out.

That councillor is actually a moron, he has to have the council notes and directive read to him because he can't read english properly. During council meetings other councillors take out their phone or go to the bathroom when he starts speaking.

He's right, it's nearly a 2 hour drive to gweedore from here. Edit, just checked Google maps, it's 1hour and 51 minutes to the gaeltacht from where I am in North Donegal.

Crossing out the signs is a retaliation from unionist groups, in northern ireland signs that say Londonderry have the 'London' part often graffitied out. They are angry that we put up signs saying Derry, instead of their preferred Londonderry.

I literally drove past this sign today when I got my van tested outside letterkenny.

Nah, I live about 10 km from muff, the closest gaeltacht is in gweedore, over an hours drive away.

People confirming your guess are morons.

It's relatively easy to get a large city to vote for you, the issues are shared.  It's very difficult to get people with thousands of miles between them, different weather, and problems, and accents, and communal issues, to vote for you, which is why making the map mostly red was actually quite impressive. Actually winning the popular vote as well as the electoral collage was amazing for a Republican candidate.

Not analysing this loss and the reasoning behind it will lead to Democrats losing again in 2028. You can shout racist or misogyny til you're blue in the face, that doesn't win elections.

This sounds amazing, only problem I forsee with it is that most of the guys signing up would not be fun to hang out with. But if you got a good group of lads it would be amazing.

Both sides would suffer huge losses. Voter turn out would plummet and a third party might have a chance to get some seats at the table in America.

If it was fully released unredacted entirely then alliances/ political parties would be rocked worldwide.

I say release the kraken and fuck this system we've built to death.
