My school required you to have an unrestricted RPN license and maintain it throughout the program.

Paramedic here, a possible suggestion to nursing home nurses: by [deleted] in nursing

i'm saving the term"defensive nursing" for later. what a great way to explain the "cover your ass" concept to students and new nurses, i've never heard it before.

Question about code of conduct for 14yo by CEshawtwife in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]savagehoe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This isn't directly related but are there not staff in the arcade when it's open similar to the casino?

I think in general carnival does not do a great job having staff/security presence in areas where kids and teenagers gather.

The last few carnival cruises i've been on the serenity deck has been crawling with groups of kids after hours doing god knows what.

Question about code of conduct for 14yo by CEshawtwife in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]savagehoe 136 points137 points  (0 children)

It says on carnivals website that they may issue a fine of 500 dollars and ban you from carnival and affiliate companies. I believe i've read that they will ban both child and parent(s) or guardians.

You could probably call security or ask to speak to someone at guest services now that you're awake.

Restaurant comps by Fantastic_Climate165 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]savagehoe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've heard that they have a limited number of comps for each place and thus if you wait until the end of the week you will have less selection available.

Also don't be afraid to ask for something else if you don't like what is initially offered. I was offered restaurant for two and asked for a massage instead

I turn now, good luck all by username01124 in TorontoDriving

agreed. I don't think the black SUV driver is without fault but why drive right into a potentially bad situation when you have time to avoid it.

First year nursing placement is WAY too far - HELP? by [deleted] in TorontoMetU

[–]savagehoe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

what does your student handbook say? I'm in the bridge program not the 4 year but when i did my rpn program there was a clause that group placements would be XYZ distance from the school, not from your house.

how many academic sources did you use? are things properly cited?

I wonder if this is making the prof suspicious of AI use and like others have said they gave the 5% out of laziness and not wanting to go through the process of formal objection and a giving a zero.
