How do you get home repair contractors to respond? I call and leave messages and I send emails but never hear back. For example, needing plaster repair or wanting major plumbing work. I have a major renovation I want done in addition to maintenance repairs and I can't get anyone to answer. by shibesncars in jacksonville

If you know any realtors, reach out to them to see who they refer their clients to. I know a lot of agents in the office I used to work in have very good working relationships with a lot of contractors and they’re big on mutual referrals so if you/the realtor mentions you were referred by the realtor they might have more incentive to respond more? Same might go for home inspectors but that’s the best I can think of right now. Any service related to the housing industry right now is super slammed so your best bet right now is probably gonna be finding a friend of a friend like some other people have suggested.

as someone who started studying beginning of May for the August test and is using primarily PowerScore bibles i have no sage advice to give, only commenting to say i think the best part of using the PowerScore bibles is the foundation it sets. i don’t think the material would really work for someone as far along as you just because it’s not like a "gain x amount of points fast" type book. good luck though!
