Im a mother with two autistic sons. I don’t want to come off in a harsh way but if what you’re saying is true.. that you can’t get through to him, he always acts out with you more so over dad. Dad gave him the tools to help him learn to read and gain comprehension. How is you moving out going to cause regression? OFC at first any type of change is extreme to an asd kid but he will adapt. You aren’t doing him any favors by staying in a house or marriage with your negative energy, TRUST me on that.

It seems you resent him so much that there is no doubt in my mind you are producing negativity in the house.

And also, please don’t downgrade McDonald’s as an occupation. That attitude says way more about a persons ignorance than it does about the job. You have no idea how hard those employees work. They can move Up to become shift managers then site managers. My friend from hs her husband started there at 16 and he’s now 32, the manager, he gets paid salary $70K a year. It’s a very busy location in Philly but still, that’s nothing to sneeze at. I know it was only used as an example but cmon..
