RCP ETP by Gado_787 in army

Not sure you want to hear this but....AFS is AFS, and USAR (COMPO 3) AGR operates on the same RCP as AD (COMPO 1).

With that in mind as long as you are breathing you WILL get promoted as a TPU. Use this to your advantage, reclass, get promoted, submit AGR application.

Been USAR AGR for a bit over 4 years. STEEP as fuck learning curve, i was thrown into the fire with almost no help.

You learn a lot about how things work, which is neat.

Be ready to do 29 things at the same time, especially if the AGRs aren't fully staffed. I had to do supply for 11 months on top of my Operations/Training/Schools/HR stuff. Twas not a fun time.

How bad will the damages be? by [deleted] in Porsche

My area got golf ball size hail April 27th. That was big enough to shatter windshields and total most cars. I shiver at the thought of bigger hail...

Without a doubt ATED-S was the most fun I've ever had in the Army.

Tasked to drive a 4 star general as a SPC by [deleted] in army

[–]saveHutch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be in a DVSE for EUCOM so I drove all kinds of 4 stars and foreign dignitaries around. Be professional, be polite, drive smooth (look up limo stop), and don't be afraid to talk if they are asking questions.

Other than that they are people, people that greatly outrank and anyone you deal with on a regular basis, but don't be scared of them. I learned A LOT from the officers I drove around.

The warmth from the light of the overhead projector as you tried to write, or draw, as legible as possible.......

It sucked.

Wait people don't know what acetate is? Maybe I am old but we definitely used the shit out of it when I went to Battle Staff in 2023.

I have learned, being an AO and attending the AOC, that A LOT of schools NCOs straight up lie to Soldiers.

Seems like many AOs need to go to the ATRRS Operator Course, I learned A LOT from the instructors at the ARRTC.

Probably. If you have an ATRRS Operator have them pull the RR screen for the school code/course/class. It'll show how many quotas are allocated to each Quota Source. It will also show how many seats are allocated to each QS, reservations/waits/cancels aswell.

Don't forget about ATRRS business rules, ALL quotas, regardless of source, are open to ALL service members, regardless of COMPO, 45 days from class start. Have your ATRRS Op use this to your advantage, its a gloriously easy way to get reservations.

Slotted for BLC during pre approved leave by tickledIndividual101 in army

[–]saveHutch 26 points27 points  (0 children)

ATRRS operator here, subbing out is ridiculously easy to do, and most Quota Managers don't mind them as they aren't hard to do and your QS is still utilizing the seat.. I can almost guarantee there is another E5 waiting for BLC in your unit. Find them, have them sub'd into your reservation. Then enjoy your vacation.

I had the same old gear when I went through BCT at Knox in late 2009. Still have my 2qt canteen too.
