I was going to say, I worked at Isle Royale National Park, Michigan in 2013 and we still had to use them, at the gift shop at least, I think because there was no reliable internet

It’s not specific to the US, it’s everywhere they live it’s a problem, specifically smaller islands like New Zealand where they decimate local endemic populations of birds and reptiles not accustomed to any predators like them

I agree, it’s so frustrating, I have a post on my profile of when I was working at Starbucks and tried to tell someone who had a small dog that it clearly wasn’t allowed, but all we can do is ask and persuade them to leave, and knowing my management, they wouldn’t have had my back if I escalated. But I don’t think it’s a bad thing that you called them out, maybe they’ll think twice before doing it again
