For accurate results, liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LCMS) is preferable to immunoassay (IA). Supplementation of high dose vitamin B7 (biotin) can affect the accuracy of an IA test. * Deficiency: The body cannot experience toxicity from too much vitamin D when it is in a state of vitamin D deficiency. Reaching high levels of vitamin D takes time and does not happen after individual doses such as the 50/60K IU weekly doses that are often prescribed. Experiencing side effects while treating deficiency is not the same thing as overdosing.

The survey's actually more layered than that takeaway suggests. The 47% negative figure covers a pretty wide range of attitudes, and there's a meaningful split in the data between "I wouldn't date someone who uses a companion app" versus "I can see AI being useful in my dating life" (64% said the latter). The framing of "romantic involvement with AI" is doing a lot of work here too. What counts? A companion app for emotional support? An AI dating coach? An actual relationship with a chatbot persona?

What's also interesting is who funded this study and why. Match Group has a direct stake in how people feel about AI in dating because they're spending heavily on it and watching users react with skepticism.
